First fucking time. See? Fuck twitter.

Ja Ja Ja: Habt Nicht Mehr Angst! (1982)

The link sends you to the last song on a great album from early 80's Germany. I keep going to this album time and again, but this one should appeal to NoMeansNo fans. Title translates as 'Do Not more fear!'. Seemed poetic when I looked it up just now. Is fucking right.

Cave: Allways (2018)

I mainly go to the song 'Beaut' (edit: Beaux ;D).. and mainly for the drums in that track. A stand out, but the whole thing is pretty damn good too. I missed this one. Not a top 10er type thing, but ..

USA/Mexico LP is OK. Will need another listen. Sounds daft saying something like that after not being able to even get thru their first LP on first listen ! ;D Two great tracks in it tho.. 1st and 4th. Track 5 is a 17 min slow sludge which I'll have to do again. The other two tracks were disappointing somehow.

Earlier. Thought I'd potter about The Quietus top 100 from last year. At No. 100 is this band, 'Lefhka'. Enjoyable album, but the stand out track is worth a listen:

You heard this one by Alan Rankine from The Associates? I heard it on an Andrew Weatherall DJ mix a year or two ago, first time I heard it. It's boss, sounds like it could have been released recently rather than '87.

I think this works... 4th track from the album. Don't worry about the title ... but this fourth track!  :-*

edit:Beautiful! Managed to edit it (wrongly) so that you get the last few bits from the previous song which sets you up... then you get the main meal. Lovely!

If not... starts at 16:00. But do 15:45 or summat nonetheless.

Bumped into an old mate who I haven't seen for a good few years on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it was his brother's funeral that reunited us.

Cracking lad but what hasn't changed is that he is uber talented and just plods away writing and making great music that nobody f**king knows about, man. Breaks my heart that there has always been a little sadness in those eyes. Nobody knows what he does. He's going to email a load of his new stuff but he put me onto two that he's done over the years we haven't talked while I wait. Won't be to everyone's taste as these two aren't upbeat and very slow (one more than the other) but I'm sure that some of you with good musical ears can appreciate his talent just off two grainy acoustic videos of him playing in his little flat in West Kirby.

Andy Ainsworth deserves to have some of his sh*t heard by more people. I'll put more up when I get them but this is all I've got for now:
