Doak got a few minutes off the bench for Celtic's first team at 16, so you can see why he's highly rated. You can joke about the level of play not being great in Scotland and all but it's a serious achievement anywhere really isn't it. Excited to see how he kicks on. If he had stayed there this could have been a breakout season for him where it's hard not to play him despite his age.

We need to be buying up the best prospects at that age while they're affordable. Between Doak, Ramsey, Bajcetic, Clark, Gordon and Van Der Berg you'd hope to get some first team players, or at least some decent fees if they get sold on (i.e. Hoever, Brewster, Solanke). Hopefully Elliott and Carvalho more of a sure thing as well.

Mabaya has struggled to impose himself, up against that Rangers winger, who is just as much of a unit and just as quick.

I was going to say Rangers have been terrible on the ball (especially at the back), but I think it’s more to do with the non-stop workrate all over the pitch from our boys.

Corness has really impressed me again, seem to be getting a decent collection of young, playmaking defensive midfielders.

Yeah he's really tidy and hit a lovely 50 yard daisy cutter in the first half.

Thought he was just a poacher but watching Cannonier, there's a lot more to his game.  His awareness is great.

But he still looks comically tiny out there, even at youth level.

Only caught the second half but another really good win. Couldn't have asked for more from the first 3

Yes but we have such a big first team squad that it's unlikely this season
