Urghh, zonal marking being blamed for every goal conceded when it's in use whereas with man to man it's apparently the fault of the individual rather than the system. Same tired old shite.

They were poor examples of zonal marking to be fair. They are stupid for blaming the fact all on zonal marking but even when your zonal marking, you shouldn't allow a guy like Benteke a free run from 9 yards away because he'll win that every time.

True, but in such cases surely the blame should be on the individual(s) who were at fault? I just don't like that every time a goal is conceded by teams marking zonally it is the system and not the players at fault. Pundits would be rightly laughed off the telly if they claimed that they 'weren't a fan' of the man to man marking system every time a team using it conceded.

Couldve been 2-2 at thte end. At the time I was a bit miffed at Coutinho losing the runner but the keeper has absolutely got to come for that, get the ball on the floor and lie on it finish the game

So many chances for Hull to get the ball away there before the first goal. Jibbed out of the tackle and a poor header kept it alive for Chelsea to run forwards

It was embarrassing. Lineker blew him out the water by reminding him about Neville. Seemed to be a hint of bitterness about how hard it is to obtain coaching badges...

Definitely sounds like he's failed a badge in the past or something. It's such a nonsense argument that they should just hand out badges like confetti to ex pros. Being a top player is absolutely no guarantee that you'll be a top coach/manager, they're completely different skill sets.
