On Sergio myself as my main bet @ 33/1. Was one putt from winning at Carnoustie in 2007.  Now he's got that Major monkey off his back I think he'll be up there again.

I'm also on Noren at 33/1 and Phil at 66/1

The Sporting Life have tipped up South African Shaun Norris as an outsider.  I'm having a few quid EW (10 Places) at 400/1

Betway are paying out as a winner if your selection leads at the end of any of the first 3 rounds.  They aren't top price on many golfers but may be worth taking a few points hit on your overall bet to take advantage of this offer.  I might take Rickie Fowler at 16/1 instead of 18/1 just to get this offer.

Haha. Can’t argue with deluded potentially

But I do enjoy watching him when playing well. In my defence a lot of tour pros say he’s the best golfer by a distance on his day - just can’t  string four days together in a row

Edit: you know he’s going to win this week now!!! Get some money on it in case

Cant argue he has the talent Duds.  The Next Tiger Woods though..nah I'm afraid that's been and gone and IMO Spieth is the only one close to achieving what Tiger did at the mo.

He's a flat track Bully and in Majors you aren't always gonna get flat tracks.

The main problem I've got with Mcilroy though is that I just can't stand the bloke.  I'm sure he's devastated! :)

-1 thru 13 then made a real mess of the last 5 holes. Finished +3.

Shame, I had high hopes for him.

Garcia is missing the cut here but a great round from the lad Norris

I've also got him top rest of the world (EW) @ 100/1.  Still quite a few South Africans and extremely talented Aussie's above and around him so not get overly excited yet.

Don't have access. But if he plays as well as he did yesterday he'll have a chance that's for sure

Don't think any of the guys ahead of him will have heard the 'Tiger Roar' until yesterday.

If he gets off to a good start it could be an extra shot

Happy for Franco but not for my betting! Going into the final round it was looking good for me;

£1ew on Kisner @ 200/1
£2.5ew on Woods @ 66/1, £5 on Woods @25/1 to win a major in 2018 (both done last October / November) and another £2.5ew on him at 50/1 which was done friday arvo i think
£5ew on Speith @ 33/1 (done thursday arvo)

I got a nice bit back on ew bets, but would have been happier if any of the above had won!

had cink, fowler and spieth ew

cink was just too far away but put in some good scores. fowler and spieth right in the mix until saturday when fowler had a triple bogey, dont think spieth had one birdie on sunday. cash out on sunday morning in total was about 30 quid, got back about a tenner

Spieth @ 30/1 for the WGC in Mexico at the weekend?  With 1/5 odds for a top 7 finish each way.

His form has been erratic and he has his Dad caddying this weekend but still generous imho.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Biggest price I've seen him for a while, but the memory of last Sunday is still fresh in the mind. He's been in relatively poor form for about a year though.

That's been the problem the last year. Used to be the strongest part of his game and if it's not firing the others are better than him at the other aspects of the game.

I'm gonna put some pennies on Woods to win a major again and a couple of other specials that the bookies have on offer. Only for novelty really, but IF he does get a period of injury-free play and ends up with a last hurrah of winning another big one then it would be great to have some money on it ante-post.

If he has any good form this year before the majors then his price will inevitably drop. I know it is foolish but it is a gamble in every sense of the word. He keeps making a comeback and it isn't for money because he doesn't need it. He's putting his body through the mire and maybe he just cant let go, but part of me thinks that he feels that if he is pain free the then he can win again. He's talking about being pain free after his back fusion surgery and he did look a lot better a couple of months ago on his return. He wont win this week, but even though I've said this before I do feel like he might just have another little run in him.

Cheers Tiger. Took a while but got there in the end.

I notice Eduardo Molinari's name is again starting to feature week after week on the European Tour.  He went through a terrible patch and seems to be coming out the other side.  Joint leader after the first round in the Scottish Open ATM.  Not saying he will win it but the guy is finding his form.

He needs to start stringing 4 good rounds together and he will win one no doubt about it.

One to keep an eye on in the future at big prices.  Unless he wins this week of course.

Just had a few quid at 48/1 to win this week just in case.
