Looks like Liverpool haven't taken their full allocation then.  Not that they would sell many more for this anyway.

Bugger.

Only 2 aways from last season and didn't do Utrecht so this could be a struggle now.

Tar nomeutente, you sound like a rowdy bunch...Most of our lot are too old for any trouble though, we all just want to sit down with a glass of Peroni and some nice Pizza or Spaghetti Carbonara. Looking forward to seeing the sites etc aswell though, and im quite the fan of italian ladies!

I totally agree with you  ;)
brilliant that mate, not too sure about capri though with its BLUE grotto, dont want too get everybodys hopes up but the forecast is looking quite good for that week....

yes you can visit the island (it's small but very beautiful) and the grotta azzurra, it will depends from the sea's conditions, cause to enter there you have to lie down on the boat. The wheater now it's sunny and hot for the season, people still go to the sea

I would think the majority that had 6+ credits would be amongst that 1200, then taking that out of the equation and considering the amount that was at most aways last season, i wouldn't think there would be too many with more than 2 credits left. If my maths is right?

It went to 4 for from last season for Utrecht so if everyone who went to Utrecht take up the first 1200 that should leave 300 for 3 credits from last season or they may just go to any member / fancard for the last 300......

Well I am one with only 2 from last year - so hope I scrape in for this - thought our allocation would be much bigger

In my opinion 1500 will be about right for this one because the cost of air fares at present will put quite a few off. I know quite a few that wanted to go but not paying the prices. Some will possibly buy for loyalty and not travel also.

Cost of air fares at present?

Most people will have book their flights already.

There'll be 3000 over there, minimum.

Times have changed mate, we aren't getting away following like we did in the Champions League. I'd love you to be right but can't see it!  For those that go I'm sure it's going to be a good one and quite possibly lot's of sunshine to boot!

I agree - can't understand why we would take only 1500 tickets - aren't we entitled to close on 3,000?

Getting on for 3,000 yes, so the club haven't taken their full allocation and if you read the bit about having to pay for any unsold tickets after the 7 day deadline that should tell you something! Like they feel that they would be taking a risk of having to pay for any unsold tickets if they took a larger allocation.

Below is from  the UEFA rules and regulations.....

14.07 All clubs in the UEFA club competitions must make at least 5% of the total
capacity of their stadium available exclusively to visiting supporters, in a
segregated, safe area. In addition, visiting clubs are entitled to purchase up
to 200 top-category tickets (unless otherwise agreed between the two clubs
in question) for their VIP supporters, sponsors, etc. (see Articles 16 and 23 of
the UEFA Stadium Infrastructure Regulations and Article 19 of the UEFA
Safety and Security Regulations).
14.08 Visiting clubs which have requested an allocation of tickets for the whole or
part of the segregated area may return any unused tickets to the home club
without payment up to seven days prior to the match, unless otherwise
agreed by the two clubs in writing. After this deadline the visiting club must
pay for the whole allocation, irrespective of whether all the tickets have been
sold.
14.09 The home club may reallocate tickets returned or not requested by the
visiting club provided that all safety and security measures (as mentioned in
these regulations and in the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations) are
respected and that such tickets are not reallocated to supporters of the
visiting club.
14.10 The official UEFA representatives and at least 20 representatives of the
visiting club and its national association must be provided with top-category
seats (and associated hospitality) in the VIP sector.

Interesting - never knew that, would still think they could shift more than 1500 but I guess they come in large blocks.

It would have been simple enough to put them on sale 3 weeks before the match ( or at least have invited applications) so they would have a pretty good idea after a week or so what the demand would have been and have plenty of time to return any likely to be unsold before the 7 day deadline .

Leaving the sale till 7 days before the match when everyone will have already booked travel is typical of the way things have been recently with the blatant disregard for the travelling fans

whether it will do any good i or not i don't know but i've dropped the club an email to see if they'd consider uping their allocation.

Just thinking out loud now but when i think of the numbers for this thats a hell of lot going without tickets, is it worth asking someone at SOS if they can get hold of someone at the club to find out? or the FSF or even the the offical supporters club?

The Lower Tier of the Anfield Road Stand has 6,391 seats. Visiting clubs usually get about half of that.

Is 50 minutes long enough to make a change in Milan airport for Naples? :-\

Didn't do Utrecht, but got 4 aways from last season, hoping to be ok, but with the little amount of time between the first sale and the game next week, reckon they might go a bit free for all, and do 1 away or something. Why is the first sale 8 days before the match? ::)

Also, does anyone know if you can do a tour of the stadium, and if so what times?

don't hold me to this it but i swear a few years back we did a 45 minute turnaround at malpensa and made it through within 30 minutes, if you've got just hand luggage it might make things more possible?

Depends if you are flying into one Milan airport and out of another! ;) Malpanza - might be a bit tight but if you are already checked in. Not sure if they have a "Transfer passengers" section like Barca does, so you don't have to go out through security and back in again. Bergamo is smaller so prob ok. Not been to Linate.

These away sales are a joke

Not knowing if you will have a ticket a week before you fly out is ridiculous

I know we have bigger isues at the moment but I really hope SoS will take up these ticket sales in the future. Surely they can pre-register interest at with people on various credits (and maybe 0) so as to give better and earlier info.

Also don't understand why tickets must be at Anfield before they sell / take deposit.

Absolutely no understanding from the club on the efforts people (still) make to watch the game.

Just over a week before the match and we know very little, the club certainly need to start considering their so called valued support a lot better and if Napoli haven't supplied tickets and info soon enough then Uefa should be sorting them out too.
