Nige has asked me to update you - we should know the pitch location on Thursday once Luca hears back from Inter regarding use of their academy pitch. He's not online for a few days so asked me to post the update for him.

I think nige might be bringing a kit - probably one of the iLFC ones. He will confirm once he's back online. Playing on astro.

Well, iLFC lads played there before, I understand, so it should be a much more straightforward pitch-hunting experience. Let's see what nige confirms on Thursday but I don't expect anything like the pilgrimage in Barcelona.

If it's an academy astro, I presume it's gonna be of a pretty good standard, and a good astro is a delight to play on.

Im not worried about the pitch too much. Infact would prefer it to be shit so everybodys got a poor touch. Im a left back really and thats it. tackling, kicking throwing....... but no stepovers from me.

Muddy pitches and slide tackles are more my scene, Excelent flood lit conditions could show me up a bit!

Got together to play a match in Barcelona last year. Played against a local Div 9 (or 10) side - mostly Barca fans but a few Espanyol in there. Lost 4-1 but the last one was in the last minute due to a dodgy pen. Basically, if we can get a decent spine to the side, we should be able to give the Inter boys a good game.

Probably gonna play 4-4-2 as that's the formation majority are gonna be used to and we'll keep our shape better.
