I assume their method of communicating will be

1) Apology email via members with 3 games, saying we are sorry this happened but you can try again later in the season

2) Apology statement on the website hidden away saying we will look into this and fix it by taking the ticket out of peoples baskets in the future.

Would pre-registering help with this? Similar to the members sales you register your interest when the ticket details are announced. The ticket office should then instantly know this would have no chance of going to 1 credit. Any returns could then be offered to people on the list who missed out?

That's similar to what United do I think. I have friends who go to their euro aways and I'm sure in the past they've had to register for which of the 3 group games they want all in one go, they then get 2 credits if they get a ticket, 1 if they registered but don't get one and none if they get one and don't collect it, or something like that.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

For a club so steeped in socialism we really do have some proper little  c*nts in our midsts.

They’ll be the same ones to roll out “fuck the Tories” on a match day. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Anyone else had the confirmation email which says this:

'The fulfilment method you have chosen and shown above...'

but it doesn't say anything 'above'  what the fulfilment method is? I am now not sure if I should have ticked a box saying post to me or collect from ground?

Haha yes there are a lot of them in the stadium these days! They usually wear North Face and sometimes at cup finals they even refuse to move as they stand in your own seat!! Sense of entitlement.

Mine doesn't say anything about postage. Do you remember of there was a box to tick for delivery? I was so f'n excited to get a ticket probably didn't read it all.

Ye there was a box to tick before you had to fill in the form. Either special delivery postage or collection from anfield.  It wouldn’t let me go to the form without selecting one.

Incorrect. I am angry about it and didn't.
Can tell you about 5 in our group who all went to Napoli who think it's bang out of order.

I am guessing you know who is behind this then and think it's great?

It's fucking over lads with 3+ credits who have been away. There will be people in that who have done the right thing and not bought 2 X Napoli, so are in the 3 sale.

And the people who were doing this were forcing it to a sale for cards they had with ONLY 1 credit. Guess which credit that would be? People getting rangers away from this exploit having never been a euro away

*never having the credit. plenty, including me, have been to many and managed to get a Napoli credit (and attended) which may possibly be rendered useless eventually anyway.

i think ultimately there's an element of unfairness across all our ticketing system and there's no fool-proof way to fix that. exploiting is definitely a line too far though, same with touting, but beyond that i don't care *that* much.

I can understand that there might be people on +3 that actually miss out.  But the reality is that 90% of people that bought tickets for Napoli never went to the match. And you cant deny this. It's wrong that 100/200 people on +1 or +2 managed to get a ticket instead of people on +3 but why people dont complain with the club when allow fans to buy the ticket for a euro away game an legally give a ticket to another person? Loads of people give stick to 30fiver but I know for sure that he has been to loads of european away games in someone's else card. Im happy for him if he managed to get a ticket on his own card

So, you're comparing a long standing system of being able to transfer a ticket in accordance with LFC terms to those hoarding tickets in baskets for two days to deny those who have probably paid for travel, accommodation & time off work. Not to mention the years of credit built up being demolished.

Wow, that's hard to fathom. And claim whoever this guy is, uses other people's cards anyway.

This doesn't affect me anymore as I live aboard but I would be more than unhappy if it had. But like someone said in this forum, hypocrisy at its best - fuck the Tories? Some need to take a good hard look in the mirror before singing that.

Nothing wrong with using someone else's card in Europe (according to the club) they literally give you a form to do it.

I think very very few on 3 missed out, and a small handful on 2 missed out

It should never have dropped to 1, but obviously did because of someone messing about with baskets

Someone said 25 tickets were available in the 1 sale, if so thats less than 1% of the allocation - club will end up dipping into their allocation and sorting those out who were on 2 and 3 but didnt buy. I'd imagine they'll email everyone and say if you'd missed out but want tickets email us back by X date and time or fill in this form and we'll be in touch

How do you know how many missed out on 3?

987 tickets went into baskets 'note went into baskets - not sold' in less than 4 minutes. From that point onwards it showed as sold out for the next 26 hours - till conveniently it was time for the 2+ sale

Wouldn’t even give these the time of day lad, just a firm of big babies sulking because they got out smarted by kids. You don’t have to be tech savvy to figure the hallmaps and other tips and tricks. Don’t get me wrong out of order what happened like but let’s face it we all would of done it if we was in there shoes.

How many did the club actually take out anyone know? I was in the 3 sale so couldn’t check when the first sale was on. Could imagine they got sticky fingers for this game.

Hopefully Bigzu gets fucked off so the Rawkite cry babies can get boxed.

There were around 100. Hall map went live just before sale.
