I would absolutely deal on that outcome if possible. 50% of the remaining games would be great.

That would be euphoric as Roy might say.
He picked up his last injury after a weeks rest so there's no template for keeping him fit. He's our second best centre back but was fourth choice last year in terms of starts. Logic suggests he'll miss more than he plays. Pity because he's a sublime player.

It’s a fucking bold substitution if not!
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

It's getting beyond ridiculous now. It's complete negligence knowing how injury prone he was and not buying a CB in the summer. We've completely shot ourselves in the foot. We cannot continue like this. With Fabinho injured now too.

Don't be a pedant. You know I meant no fit first team centre backs. You could include some youth players too if you really wanted to make your point.

Williams and Philips are first team players now, whether you like it or not, so there's no need to exaggerate is there?
Let's hope we can bring in a loan in the next few days.

Post what you want mate, but lay off the needless exaggerations and bedwetting as every single poster on here knows we need a centre back, let's hope we can get one in.

As for Matip, hopefully it's just a set back and he and Fab are available for the city game. I imagine Phillips will play against West ham again and we should be fine with that as he's been fine tonight and was man of the match last time he played West ham.
We've just hammered Spurs away, enjoy it!

At the point where even starting him means you're down a sub already.

That's 3 times he's come off injured during a game this season (and Everton after lockdown) and he's barely played in that time.

If we keeping getting injuries back there then the tea ladies will be "first team players" soon.

No idea what your point is.

He is so fucking good but if his availability doesn't improve, there is no point keeping him. Sad as it is.

He may be better off going to a less physically demanding league.
