Its weakened side but it's got more than enough quality to beat these, a couple of hungry players coming in wanting to impress and enough regulars for continuity and rhythm.

Be good to see a change of shape aswell, been a bit stale recently. I mean if you cant trust Klopp by now then you can get to fuck.

Glad Salah isn't starting to be honest. He'd be the first player they'd clatter with a shocker.

Don't think a fat Evertonian rolling his ankle is what he needs.

Brave leaving some of those players on the bench!! Yes Everton are gash at the minute, but we struggled against the likes of them and Utd over the last season when we should have comfortably beat them. Would have liked to have seen Salah or Bobby start as well and then rest them if we get a decent lead. Everton are due a pasting from us...... come on red men.

The bench is ridiculous.
must be one of the strongest benches I've ever seen for a league game, never mind a derby. ;D

Didnt we do a similar sort of team against Burnley pretty much this time last year?
Yeah, that side was actually worse.

Alisson, Gomez, Matip, VVD, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Keita, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi.

I'll take the Barcelona legends to do what's necessary today. A pity I placed my bet this morning as we're now 4/6 from just over 2/5.

I'd almost take our bench to beat both them and our first eleven tonight.

Not sure what we could have done differently, unless your suggestion is that we should have signed people in the summer? In which case, why only whinge about it now?

Well resting Trent and starting Henderson/Milner together backfired last week and now we have to go all out in Salzburg.

Nice lineup, I can see us tonking them and after they run out of steam we bring on big guns to pulverise them.
Actually expecting a fairly one-sided affair this time.

Shaqiri, hope he has a good game. He had a great December last year would be great to see him have a similar impact.

Could also say, he dropped Salah and Firmino for not performing.... :-X ;)

Doubt it. It's just rotation. At least the bench is strong, and something tells me we're probably going to have to use it and win this by the skin of our teeth very late on if recent derbies and indeed recent form is anything to go by.

Hilarious. He's had one clear mistake if I am remembering the first few months of the season correctly...and he was punished for it.

Rotate by all means not in the Derby though.

Silly way to look at it. They are so irrelevant it should mean next to nothing except three points. If you aren't rotating at home against 17th in the table on a weeknight when are you?

Strange selection, but Klopp knows what he is doing. The fresh legs against their side who had a difficult game and result just a few days ago might be the difference here.

Keita is pretty much behind every midfielder now. Hendo  gini fabinho milner lallana chamberlain. He’s actually behind all of them.

Big risk by Jurgen out there especially shaqiri coming straight in after being out for so long

Rightly so. Pretty ridiculous that he should be in front any of them considering his form and availability thus far.

He will have to wait his turn.

Everton were physically gone the last 30 minutes against Leicester. They have had one day less rest and are unchanged.

We have plenty on the bench if we need it.

They did OK in the first half but faded badly in the second half and were over run. Silva's subs are invariably badly timed and seem to have little impact.

Guess the're be a bus parking exercise from them, hoping to hit us on the break a la Napoli.

Except Napoli have a top defence and a world class manager. :)

I have no doubt that we’ll be making some big subs 60/70 mins in to hopefully win this one!!

A bit worried with that line up

Liverpool: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Milner, Shaqiri, Mane, Origi.
Subs: Keita, Firmino, Salah, Gomez, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kelleher.

Surprising team, but on a closer look I think the surprises are only Lallana and Shaqiri. I kind of expected Origi to start.

I reckon Wijnaldum will be the first one off. He also looked shattered against Brighton.
