Not his finest moment but don’t think it was the difference between winning and losing, not sure the horse ever settled for him seemed to be pulling most of the way round, but not sure why he was so far back, was further back than on Stradivarius

He never got it involved, sat back, finally made a little headway way too late. Awful ride. Mate from Ireland told me this would win today, he had £2k on it. Bookies patting dettori on the back right now.

Full turn out again on Saturday. Great to see and thanks.

Duvva's in-play scoring updates were bang on and the top 3 overall places were totally correct Thanks for doing that Duvva, appreciated.

Just three NR's were selected on Day 5 that reverted to the favourite and scored points.

15:40 Logician - Somerset Red (10 points)
16:20 Starman - Fazak_Red (15 points)
17:00 Chil Chil - Aedge659 (7 points)

Top scorer for the day was Aedge659 with 92 points. The question is - Would he have picked Rohann in the 17:00 and won the title, if he was given the chance to reselect his Non-runner Chil Chil?

The ruling is, we cant allow changes to selections mid-way through the day (even for NR's) as it gives an unfair advantage. So him being assigned the SP Favourite was the right thing to do. Still a very good day for Aedge. 4 winners and a couple of places.

***Congratulations to Gerry Attrick - The very first RAWK Ascot champion Tipster***

Gerry managed to hold off a valiant Day 5 challenge from Aedge659 to claim the inaugural title. Gerry had an average first couple of days, but it was Days 3 and 4 where he did the damage meaning he had more than enough in the tank on the final day to get over the line.

Gerry certainly knows his sports and is a deserving winner. Well played.

I'll be honest an say I wouldn't of picked Rohann anyway but definitely would have napped Love once I knew Lord North was out. Which would have done the job for me but I'll be gracious in defeat, still just my one Aintree title from a couple of years back to my name. Well done Pete/Duvva and congrats Gerry.

Great comp, really enjoyed this apart from my horror show when it mattered as I managed to put my profits from the other days back in the bookies pocket and fall from second ti mid table mediocrity.
