It's actually just complete laziness to be honest. Only takes 10-15 minutes to count up all the scores and sort the tables  :D

I do it on my work computer so depends how busy or arsed I am most days.

That's pretty much the reason I won't be taking over BoRed's duties. That basically requires being up to date and it's something I can be certain I'd fall behind on.

So are you looking for someone else to take over for next season? I might be interested in doing the league one only. I'll have a think about it over the remaining games.

I suppose I meant totting up the league and championship tables. I'll have to get my head around how BoReds competitions are scored but if I can I'll consider it. Give me till the end of the season to decide though.

Feel free to PM me if you need a bit of advice or explanation. BoRed's Cup (feel free to rename it ;D) is simple enough, it's just points per game. I use Barney's scores from the overall standings and divide them by the number of entries a player has made, which is essentially the only thing you need to keep track of. The PL is lots of work, though. You need to generate a fixture list before the season starts and pick a random set of fixtures after each PL game (I use the national lottery for this, but I used attendance at games before Covid - essentially you need some random number which is not known before the game kicks off, preferably a public one unless you want to be accused of manipulatinig the fixtures ;)). You could then again use Barney's scores (if you can wait a month or two ;D) or compute them yourself to figure out the head-to-head scores, but you'll need to keep an eye on any home advantage points, too. The league then works just like the actual PL, with three points for a win, one for a draw, etc.

BTW, if you do take over, nothing prevents you from changing/simplifying the rules. :)

Errr.....I've read and reread the rules over and over and am struggling to make sense of it. The Premier League one is a bit daunting. I may have to PM you a lot if I decide to do it though! I'll have a proper read of the rules when my head isn't mush. I'm not confirming anything yet
