Him and De Bruyne are incredible from that inside right hand pocket. They are so similar in the way they whip in those crosses at pace and with so much quality from those positions.

Yeah that's what I seem to remember too, and that he was a makeshift right back for that game at Old Trafford.

He's destined to be a no 8 for us, no doubt. If we had a right back of similar quality to him, I'd already be wanting to try him out in midfield, but he's the best right back in the world, so they're not easy boots to fill.

He assisted Mane for the penalty which was crucial

Trent was my MOTM, I'm Mane's biggest fan but not sure how he won that

An absolute phenom. Reminds me of watching Alonso or Aurelio in their pomp, staring stupidly as they brilliantly swing their bodies with perfect technique.

Playing him as a right back feels like cheating at times - a cruise missile in a range war against rocks and slings.

Might have moved from 4th to 3rd choice by Southgate now. I'm not a big Harry Kane fan but he'd be getting 40 headed goals a season with trents delivery.

I honestly don't understand why people want to see him in the midfield let alone as an 8. Ok, maybe a 6 a la Alonso but an 8?
