I'm no expert but the amount of space we give teams when attacking us is unreal at times.
Must be a calculated risk with tactics etc which pays off more than it does I guess

We had two chances in two minutes at the start, put those in and Everton aren't getting on the score sheet. We just need to get back into our stride do that and we can sort this.

The amount of soft chances we give up this season is alarming. Even Southampton should have scored about 2 goals. Virgil and Trent need a proper slapping.

Great start, absolutely battered them.

Then after about 30 we just really slowed down and got complacent on the ball, Matip and Fabinho in particular.

Even though the ref has booked them for diving they are still going over way too easy and making snide tackles..they'll try and get Thiago sent off now.

How good has Henderson been. His technical ability is underrated. Trent has not been great defensively and needs to wake up.

I think we'll be fine.

Started strongly. Need to take a couple more of these chances.

Fair play to Rafa - set them up really well (Although we could be well ahead) - he is such a great coach that he'll always surprise people. Gave my missus a lift to the match and I reckoned then - and now - that it'll be maybe 2-1 or 3-1

Depending on IF we take our chances. Some of their players are genuinely dirty though - much diving.

My money is Richarlson getting sent off again just to make himself relevant.

Really should have been 4 or 5 up inside 25 mins. Matip should score, Salah could head that one in on 3 mins!
Two fabulous goals and we were in total control.

They looked hopeless until they score from nothing. Too much space, Matip goes with the runner and Trent is to far wide and he is through and now they are up for it.

Allan should be off two yellows there, Tierney bottled the first one, but impressed he hasn't fallen for the dives, which were both terrible.

We are so much the better side, but that doesn't always matter. We need to be a little less open and take the sting out of the game, keep the ball, then ramp up the pressure and put to bed. Be more clinical.

Need to get mane and jota in the game more. The early charges down the wing from Robertson were great for the first 10 min but seem to have stopped.

Editor constantly cutting away from the pack of dogs screaming at Trent at each corner. Nothing mentioned about the missile thrown either. I mean let’s just keep ignoring it like everything else in case it makes the game look bad, that’ll stop it.

I’ll be amazed if no red card gets given, not just because if these dirty tackles but the ref giving Allan and Thiago both yellows. I mean words fail me how he done that.

Dragged us down to their level halfway through the half. We need to be much sharper into the challenges, they're starting to mop up all the second balls, and putting some pressure on us without offering hardly any quality.

Feel like we're going to have goals like that from Everton in us all season if we don't tighten things up. Don't know enough about football to say who it should have been, but someone gave Gray a ridiculous amount of space considering he was the only option for Richarlison to find.

We were excellent for the first 22 minutes, two brilliant goals.

Klopp will be fuming over that goal. He's not been happy with our defensive play for a few games now, and we can't afford to let this lot back into the game.

I was relieved to see us score early, as I feared they would gradually get their shit together and get into the game. It's well we got the second when we did, but we need to go into the second half like it's still nil nil. Break the gets.

Their defending was insane, I don't think any of them knew who they were picking up at all. It made it so easy.
