Not sure, but their stadium only houses 25,000 i think, so the alloc will defo be small. Aren't they obliged to hand over a % of the tickets for a Euro match?

Probably the best draw we could have hoped for. Their rep at the draw said he wanted to avoid everyone except Panathanikos, so they arent as happy as we are (with good reason on Tuesday's performace!).

If we get to the semi, we will be away first leg (which I think is a big advantage). Another point is if we get to the final we will be the "home" team. I assume that means we will wear our home shirt? Cant think what else it would mean.

Anyone know site for Dutch rail service? Should be able to train it from Amsterdam surel?

You would probably be able to train it from amsterdam, i know they do services to belgium and switzerland so you will be able to get to germany fine.
as for the website i'm not sure, but the trains there are very good.

At least the Semi Final in our first year back in the Premier European competition! Superb. Bayer have a few players to look out for, Most noteably Ballack but over 2 legs we will prove to hot for them and we'll play Deportivo next round.

Cheers Shabs, loads trained it to Dortmund last year from 'dam but doesn't look like Leverkusen has a station from looking so far. Found a great hotel there though!

Leverkusen does have a station but it's on a different line to the intercity. The best bet is to get a train to cologne and then get the tram or train to Lev. The stadium does have a hotel attached to it but you can't get to it on match days 'cos they use it as a tv studio and It'll be packed anyway.

Good draw, especially after our second phase draw and group and our lads were bloody amazing to progress from such a hard group so Bayer eh? Should be a good tussle and looks like the mancs will win fuck all this year.

the draw is okay but bayer are a quality outfit at the top of their league and we mustn't take anything for granted.
although gh and thommo wouldn't let them think that.
utd will beat deportivo that's a cert.
i'll eat my words here if they don't.
but i am so excited at the genuine possibility of a semi final this was unimaginable even 2 years ago

Hi Reds!

The last information to get from Bayer was that the game is totally sold out.
On the question how many cards will be sended to Pool they said about 10% of the capacity. The Capacity is only 22.500. So with the UEFA-Security rules there will be 20.000 and 10% are only 2.000 cards!

So for us German Reds there is no way to get tickets!
So I wish U - the travellers - a lot of fun!
If somebody have tickets and can not get the GR is looking for tickets!

Hey Reds,

I see you all are happy with the draw. I would say it's not a bad draw at all. And travelling to Germany shouldn't be too hard for ya'll. Bayer has a few players that are pretty dangerous though such as Yildiray and Schneider are just 2 of'em. Anyways, nice draw and I'll come back with more feedback later!
