You may have left it too late to fill that attacking mid spot, but if you can sneak one in, that would be a dandy team.

I have a RB and a GK to fill.

I'll find someone I'm sure, or make someone up and hope none of you realise.

My gosh there have been some strange picks in this.  Players going far too early and some belters being picked up late.

I think this shows how the game has changed with the size of squads.  From the 1960s to the end of the 80s the number of players is actually quite low.

It'd be interesting if someone can be arsed to see how many players picked represent each decade.  Obviously it's difficult where careers span more than one, but either double counting or picking a slightly subjective 'main' decade could solve it.

to be honest, games those days were insanely high scoring.
A Liverbird upon my chest, we are the men of Shankly's best. A team that plays the Liverpool way, and wins the championship in May.

That's the beauty of the old offside law ;D

Made it easy to spring an "offside trap", but the phrase "live by the trap, die by the trap" didn't come from nothing ;D

It's been brought to my attention that Hysen has already been picked. On my way to work now so I will change it in an hour or so.

I didn't realise so I've PM'd Chakan so the draft should carry on as normal.

My plan from the off was always to try create a team that I have seen all of them play live. Not been possible as I have picked Lawrenson and Berry Nieuwenhuys. The rest I'm fairly happy with, even if it doesn't seem like the best team!

I thought Moran had been picked? Has someone edited a post and unpicked him previously? Was absolutely sure I had seen his name already.

No he hasn't been picked previously.  It's a great pick this late in the draft too.

Moran is a very good pick. Had my eye on him but ive got Kennedy so it seemed a waste to put him at CB.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
