Topic: In from the States, first match ever at Anfield tomorrow!!

Alright boys, what do I need to do on match day? We are starting out at the Albert docks. Bus to the ground, or is there a better way to get there? What pub should we head to? I've heard the Sandon. The Albert is packed so I'm told. Definately going to hit the club store and load up. Any other tips to get the full match day experience are greatly appreciated!

Sing like fuck even though people will look at you as if you have 2 heads.

In terms of pubs, they all get pretty packed. The Albert and The Park if you want to sing or stand with with people that don't simg during the game. Sandon gets really busy too but has a few different bars and you can stand out in the car park if you get too claustrophobic or want to have a smoke.

The one in Town sells exactly the same tat, there'll be far less queues so if you have to go, I'd go to the one in Town.  There's going to be heightened security tomorrow so your bag will get checked.

I've heard that big bags (whatever that means) are going to be targeted so they might only be on about ruck sacks, can't see there being much bother about a club shop bag but just thought I'd warn you in case.

If you want something a lot more authentic than either of the two Club shops, then give this place a look.

There was some problems with the shop after the Club trademarked the City logo, but I think that's been resolved.

Bus is cheapest of course, but if you get a taxi don't turn left outside Lime Street Station unless if you like mile long queues.

Instead, turn right until you get past the Everyman Theatre it's much quicker to get a cab.
