It's the wrong decision every time we get near the French penalty area. It's so frustrating to watch.
I've just wiped the sticky residue from my bellend onto the television screen. Taste it Leo. You deserve it.
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

Absolute state of that defending from England. Been very panicky since going ahead, need to just get on the ball and calm things down a bit.

How Karen Bardsley plays international football I'll never know. She's an absolute shocker of a keeper. Then again, keeping on the whole in the women's game is woeful.

Well she's coming off now, Chamberlain of Liverpool coming on.

This ref can fuck off. Moaning at our players and physios because Bardsley dropped to the floor because of her injury.

It's definitely the weakest part of the womens game, that and defending in general.  It's fecking Sunday kickabout standard.

This tournament is wide open, England will never have a better chance to win a major trophy for a good few years.

Just. Keep. The. Ball.

The thought process of the England players when they should be keeping possession is baffling.

What was that from Chamberlain? ;D

England have no excuses if they don't from this position.

Are these players taught not to communicate with each other? So many times we could have controlled the ball and kept hold of it only for us to just hoof it wherever and invite the pressure.

Again with that Jill Scott header. She had 10 yards of space to bring it down and drive forward yet nobody gave her a shout.

Excellent stuff. I worry about how much that will have taken out of us though, every England player looked really tired by the end.

Pretty much every England player on the pitch today had the game off against Portugal, they should be fine. Semi final isn't until Thursday either so plenty of recovery time.

The semi finals are on Thursday as well, so they've got a few days to recover.

I would be loving this if it weren't for the fact Sampson is a bellend. It's so hard to wish good things upon the team when I can't stand him.

Get in!! Was by no means their best performance but that result against such a quality team can't be underestimated.

Jodie Taylor & Lucy Bronze - my two favourite players in the women's game - with big contributions.

Jodie Taylor's goal for England on 60 mins vs France - https://streamable.com/x3mdy

Looking good for her finishing as Top Goalscorer too - she's on 5 goals, with around 10 players next on 2 goals each -

Well in England :)

France going out means we've just said au revoir to Camille Abily. 183 caps. Not seeing her any more will take some getting used to. Shame she couldn't hang on for another two years to bow out at a home World Cup.

England gk Karen Bardsley will miss the rest of the tournament after breaking her leg - looks like Liverpool's Siobhan Chamberlain will play in goal vs Netherlands in the Semi (and played 15+ mins vs France).

Should be a good evening's watch, if only Clare Balding wasn't presenting, it'd be so much better.

Kind of want Denmark to win here, not sure why, might be to with me always thinking Austria are a boring side.

Thought England were a little lucky vs France, interesting to see how they got on tonight.

Claire Balding's style of presenting is great for the Olympics when she's doing a sport that everyone only watches once every 4 years and so the audience can share her wide eyed wonderment and odd questions about everything that is happening. It doesn't work so well with football.

Boring in what way? They're doing what they need to do. It's their first Euro ever, they're the youngest team I think and they would have been happy with scoring one goal or getting one point. Looking at the expectations they did a pretty good job so far and I don't think they were clearly worse than the other team in any game they've played so far (haven't seen the first one against Switzerland). I'll also add another thing, but only once the game has finished as I don't want to jinx it... ;)

Had to check my Russian stream was still showing the footy there in the background - the female commentator just kept shouting harder, harder, harder at the tv for a good couple of minutes - only just figured out Harder is Denmark's centre-forward...

Women's game is getting more physical every time I watch. Challenges flying in here. Couple of players lost to injuries.
Just missing the diving and some crowd violence and they'd have achieved parity.

When I said always, I meant always, since like Toni Polster was playing for them. From what I saw against Germany, they looked decent. I wasn't being entirely serious in any case.
