I did this for the Derby a couple of seasons ago. I got the tickets I wanted in my basket then rang the ticket office and got them to cancel the ones I had originally bought. Then just checked out the ones in the basket.
I reckon you will have the most difficulty getting someone to answer the phone in the ticket office though, I have tried a couple of times this season to get through to them and it just rings for a while then tells you they are busy and cuts you off.

I've done it before myself, but the LA sale was a lot more than 2 weeks before the game so returning the original tickets wasn't an issue. As the LA sales are now within 2 weeks of the game, does that mean you're now stuck with the tickets bought in the bulk sale?

It depends who you speak to. I convinced them to let me swap a few times last season. Other times they refused. Also, as someone's said above, it's pot luck if someone's going to answer the phone or not when you call. If they don't, you're scuppered anyway. Wish we had a way to do it online

Still saying suspended... but sold out when you log in. Soon as I put the exchange up they'll no doubt release some.

well rather than 11am they went up about 11.54 apparently, whenever they mess up sales rather than announce a new time so everyone know they just get it working with no notice.

I've made this point. There should be a "Any returns will go on sale at time X every day". The current system of having to refresh every second of every day is nonsense. There's no consistency to it.

Personally prefer it when they add them on randomly (it helps working at a computer all day) it prevents the disappointment of waiting in a que knowing if it's over 3 minutes you haven't got  a chance of getting one. It must make it harder for touts to buy up the spares market also??

Tickets for this game will keep popping up until the end of the week for this one I reckon.

Would be so handy. Also do they release them when X amount are returned - so let's say the threshold is 20 and they put them up or is it a case of whenever they feel like? Makes no sense.

Some of them popping up are because someone has put seats in their basket and then don't actually buy. Pissed off that I can't get there midweek - loads of Seville tickets up a while ago and still some left in the Lower Anny Road.

Thanks - what I meant was will it most likely be 4 games required, or could it be higher than that?

Hi everyone. Wasn't sure where else to put this, but I got a ticket for the United home game through my local OLSC. Before I was eligible for it though, I had to upgrade to full membership rather than just the international one. I did this on the 12th of this month. Thing is, the new member card only arrives here in 4 to 6 weeks but I'll be leaving for the UK on the 12th of October. Is there any way I can still go to the game in case I don't get my new card before I leave? Any help/info at all would be appreciated

So they're now giving out tickets for games where members need 4+ homes last season, to someone who (presumably) hasn't got a previous purchase history from last season at all ? Excellent!

In answer to your question, if the member card doesn't arrive, you'll be able to get a paper ticket at the TO Windows on the day of the game if you take confirmation of the purchase, credit card used to purchase, ID

If it helps, I bought 3 last season. I hadn't checked the auto renew for the full one so it lapsed back to the international one.

But thanks for the info!

United;
Match Ticket : Additional Members Sale - Members with 4+ Premier League home games from Season 2016/17
Tickets will be available online from 8.15am Thursday 28 September
Tickets for this sale are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available to all who apply.

I know that not many will be traveling (800?) and most will probably be back from Moscow in time for the sale (if your not already sorted) but still.

Website closed for United 4+ sale, are we expecting much to be online when it reopens?
Still think this should open at 10 games from last season some day last week and come down 1 every day until its a sell out.

They should at least have another drop like they had until 2 seasons ago(?) 13, 7, 4.
