The guy is on the run. I live in St. Paul, near Bloomington, and he is nowhere to be found. He is not at home, not in the office, not at his in-laws, and not answering calls from the USFWS, the press, or patients. He has gone underground. So much for aiding investigations.
To be honest, he's a dead man walking in the Twin Cities. Minnesota has a huge hunting community, but they're largely old-school, we strictly-hunt-according-to-the-prevailing-laws types. Guy is ruined here, I reckon. I doubt the US will extradite him, but you can bet his legal hunting days are over. He'll never get another permit.
