Business Wars by Wondery. Just finished the first series about Netflix vs Blockbuster vs HBO. The next series will be about Nike vs Adidas. Good content, but it's one guy reading most of it, so it sounds more like an audio book than a podcast.  :wave

Currently listening to the Stone Cold podcast. Anyone who's into wrestling or used to be, the top three ones are Big Show, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar. Very good listens.

LOVED it back in the Attitude Era days. Anything that touches upon that time?

Try the Attitude Era Podcast. Kefin and the boys are great, they've covered every pay per view of the AE and have recently moved on to the Invasion storyline.

Kefin's other podcast Cinema Swirl is great too.

Yeah, literally called the Attitude Era Podcast (or AE Podcast), there's probably more out there, but can definitely recommend this one.

not quite the anfield wrap, but the bloodred podcast from the echo have 2 interview specials this week..
1. Christian Purslow
2. Martin Broughton

I've only listened to Purslow and it took me a few days to summon the will to listen to him, as I was concerned that they wouldn't ask some of the difficult questions. However, they did :)

That Blood Red podcast with Sir Martin Broughton is essential listening, it's absolutely fascinating. The sound is awful and often the background noise is louder than the contributors, but it really is brilliant.

Can anyone recommend some true crime podcasts - preferably on the longer side of the spectrum? I've been a keen supporter of Sword and Scale for a long time now, but recently they've covered a lot of sex crimes/murders against children and I'm just not listening to shit like that. I think it's a misstep from them and I hope they change tack soon.

Have done the usuals like Criminal, Serial etc if it helps.

Has anyone recommended West Cork yet?

I found it this week and it's very good indeed, and if you liked Serial (et al) you'll like this, i'm sure.

I just searched on podcasts for that (thanks to your recommendation).

there is an intro on "Podcasts" on my phone (sounds like a good series) but it says you have to have an amazon account to listen to it?
Is that what you're doing Grob? Is it an app like "podcasts"?

or Ł23.49 on that audible link (that's an audio book, right?)

Yeah, sorry, I should've been clearer. This is an audiobook produced by Audible, rather than a podcast per se, so you won't find it via your usual podcast apps.

Ordinarily it's Ł23.49, but at present you can download it for free as part of a free 30 day trial, which is what we did.

Have you followed Serial up with Undiclosed? Specifically Adnan Syed/Hae Min Lee?

EDIT: Maybe best not to read that link as it has some spoilers but feel free to PM me and I will guide you into the world of Undisclosed... which is 10x better than Serial. :)

Might give that a go also. MB was really interesting. Nothing particularly new in there but fascinating to hear it from someone so close to the action all the same. Could tell he was pissed off that Rafa kept refusing to show up to meetings.

Edit - Just listening to the Purslow one now, interesting too but find him a bit condescending and irritating.

If you haven’t listened to Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Podcast...

Listen to the latest one with Brian Blessed...

It really depends on the guest he has on. Personally I can't stand Richard Herring and don't find him funny at all. But if the guest is good I will listen.

Funny thing is, that I’ve never really found Stuart Lee that funny.. different stokes I guess..

However, Herring says hardly a word on this....
