It's my first time, as it is running a week later than usual and it's fantastic. The family and I watched Tuesday and Thursday, plus today and finishing off with the time trial tomorrow. Let's hope the Sky boys give it some beans today. [emoji106][emoji636]

Still having a fantastic time out here..Road the Tourmalet, borderes and soulour yesterday before being transferred down to the finish line..sadly..actually not too sadly as I was caned at that stage..we ran out of time to finish on the Aubisque
Man that borderes climb was horrible..not wonder it caused carnage. The others are long and hard but pretty consistent. That one was all over the place and a few 15%+ rises
My highlight of the trip so far youth was standing with Lawson Craddocks dad as he rolled in with the grupetto. Pride of the fellah was amazing. Told us Lawson didn’t think he’d make it in time as he was hurting so bad so for him to do it was just brilliant
That was some race yesterday..proper last man standing racing

Was amazing Albie
You kinda forget all the bad about the sport when you see them all up close and working
Such a shame so many bad things have happened in the last 2 decades and a bit as outside of the beautiful game its the most exciting sport there is
Have to say i enjoyed this tour a lot. Great to see the top 4/5 being so close every day on the mountains. Quintana's win on the Portet and Dan Martin's never give up style my favourite moments
Geraint is kinda likelable too...once you take the Sky connections out of the equation

Fantastic in the alps getting to ride it is a privilege no matter how much of a challenge it is I enjoyed this year's edition. Martin was himself always having a go and if Sky have to win Thomas is the one you want to do it. Sagan was impressive again nice to see Chavanel given the ride into Paris and Alpe dhuez was exciting Kruijswijk was brave and nearly pulled off a massive win[/size]

Seen a few bits. Yates clawed back some time today. Looked like to me the elbow to the Marshall yesterday was deliberate??

Sad news

Obviously divided opinion with his views on Lance and  closeness with him
But I'll miss him - grew up listening to him on ITV through C4 and onto ITV over the last three decades - I'm still sad ITV stopped  using himand Liggett for the last few years

Thank fuck.

Brailsford says the team will continue if another backer is found. They have by far the biggest budget in cycling, so that might be hard. Especially if you consider how Quickstep struggled to find funding after the season they had.

Agree. The women's race started 8 minutes after the men's race. Yes the routes diverged after a bit, but why the fuck did they not wait just a bit longer, maybe 20 minutes? It's obvious that someone attacking will make up 8 minutes on someone at the back of the race pretty quickly, no matter that top speed and power differences.

There is a big debate of whether they should've neutralised the men's race instead, but its probably tricky. In both races, the front groups moved much faster than the slow groups, so unless they'd be happy to just mix the two races, there is really not solution where neutralising one race would have been ok.

Oops, fixed the link now. If you don't want to watch the whole 25km, jump to about 27 min - 4km to go.

Best finish I've ever seen i think. Super strong.
