Silly thread, Eric Cartman by a million miles. I'm not the biggest South Park fan by a long chalk but lines like;

Where to begin.

Timmeh is funny, Jimmy is much more layered than you think. Butters is just fabulous, and one of the few really sympathetic characters. Mr Garrison is marvellously filthy and self centred.

Randy Marsh is a brilliant portrayal of a guy who thinks he's an adult but really isn't that mature or bright. Cartman's Mom (and also Dad funnily enough) is a refreshingly unapologetic Martha Stewart slut.

Chef is a fuckwad, after what he pulled with those Cult nutjobs.

The Bus Driver lady is quality. Mr Mackey is just right (and a very good singer, too). Mmm-kay?
Officer Barbrady? Those guys must hate cops. Terrence and Phillip are beautiful Canadians.

But it all comes back to one thing.

Eric Cartman. Cynical, abusive, fat, impossibly selfish, stupid, cunning, dramatic, anti social, hippy hating, all singing, all dancing, and just wants his....ten....million....dollars.

Cartman. My pick for the greatest comic character, not just in South Park. Ever.

To go against the grain slightly.. anyone ever seen the episode Clubhouse? Where Kenny and cartman go off to build their own clubhouse to match stan and kyles. The step dad called "Roy" in that really made me laugh.

The devil and jesus are both underrated in my opinion. Cartman is clearly the best though, but mr garrison, chef, barbrady, mr hanky, mrs cartman are all funny. Fuck it, the whole show is awesome
