Presumably the money on Mourinho is under the assumption that they are going to get that new owner, although saying that, without a new owner it is tough to see any of the proper options on the list wanting to go near there as it is a championship-level squad that Rafa has nursed to midtable in the PL for two seasons.

Think it was reported that the new owners would want Mourinho, which I guess he would be interested in. Not that I think the takeover will happen. If it was close, then I'd have thought Rafa would have held fire, and even if he didn't, they would now wait to appoint someone rather than saying "the search will start now".
