I've a feeling that we didn't sell out for this one last year. Anyone who was there confirm this?

I'm thinking about the possibility of going myself. Mate of mine has seats in the directors box each year (he's a Red)and mentioned Sunderland fans weren't the most hospitable, if you know what I mean, when they found he wasn't one of them.

5 days before Rome away and there were about 300 empty seats. All due to poor communications on the ticket office side. I.e announcing a general sale on the day before the game. Sudnerland aint the best place either.  ::)

The problem last season was they called serial numbers, but only 3 serial numbers were called as far as I can remember.

They kept it like this until a few days before the game, when they changed the required serial numbers, and then the day before the game a general sale.

I would say our allocation was just over half full, I had at least 3 seats to meself (pretty comfortable but poor atmosphere wise!)

Nice stadium though  ;D

Ticketmaster are that dosey they wouldnt even notice! Anyway, they cant refuse you the ticket just because you  have a Liverpool address. Imagine if they did that with our tickets, there would be a fair few moans  ;)

I wouldnt want to sit in the Macken end anyway, if it came to that i would rather be down the pub with fellow reds.

I also read somewhere that at the Man Utd match this year the stewards were doing that old trick of asking everyone 3 questions about Sunderland to get into the home end.
Cant remember what they were though.

i went to this last year, i just turned up at the sunderland ticket office with my liverpool scarf and the guy said to me 'youll be wanting a ticket for the liverpool end then'

i think that was mainly because of roma being a few days before though
