To be fair, Eubank is world level. Not the best, but defo top 5-8

No shame in that, just not as good as dad

DeGale can't throw any combinations.

DeGale is so boring. If it's not constantly clinching, he's getting lifted off the ground or getting down to ground level

Jr had a point deducted for a spinebuster.

First of all, Joyce is nowhere near a top 10 heavyweight although most of us knew that. He is already getting on and I don't see him suddenly developing the power and fluidity he needs.

Second, De Gale is clearly shot to shit. Tonight was a fight he would have won handily 4 years ago for example. Pains me to see Eubank Jr. as a world champion, he really isn't at that level but that's one of the big issues in boxing; far too many 'world titles'. In an era with one world champ, Eubank wouldn't ever go beyond fringe contender status. I'd like him to fight Callum Smith but I've a funny feeling that won't happen  ::)

No one considers the IBO title as a legitimate world title belt.

I didnt catch the beginning; I wasn't aware that De Gale no longer had the IBF title. So it is another Matalan belt for Eubank then  ;D

Ramirez has a pretty record (as you like to say) but it is padded to fuck. Not going to pretend I have seen much of him but his best win(s) are against Jesse Hart despite being 39-0. No one else in the top 30 on his record from what I can see (unless you want to count ancient Arthur Abraham). Saunders likely has little to fear by challenging Ramirez for his title.

So Top Rank have told the WBC that Tyson Fury wants to have an interim fight in May or June before the rematch with Wilder later this year.

I would like to see him fight a halfway decent contender like Breazeale who he will beat but will also have to work a bit. Instead, his team will be checking out the ol' Latvian directory. The cynic in me says they'll wheel out David Price if he wins his fight next month  ::)

If this happens, my bet is that Wilder will pad out time by fighting Adam Kownacki.
