Can we expect a returns sale announcement for this today?

Its unlikely there'll be any returns for this now if yesterday's result is anything to go by.

Has anyone either received tickets from the 2nd sale or had a Royal Mail e-mail to say that they are on their way?

Cheers. I just spoke to the ticket office to find out where they are, they said that they 'should' have been posted out so I 'should' receive them by Monday at the latest. Just seems a crazy situation as Monday is the day before the match whereas the 2nd sale was 10 days ago. They will call me back with the tracking number...hopefully!

EDIT - They've just arrived!

They won't get sent back to Anfield. They'll leave a Royal Mail alling card, you'll need to pick them up from your local sorting office.

Have tweeted T Barrett & SOS about ticket collection for this will be absolute chaos,as people are saying what if your on coach held up on 62 or police escort straight to the ground, they haven’t got a fuckin clue
Also still the same questions about how you getting there, where your staying, don’t be so fuckin lazy & change the words for this game... also about touting would like to know where 100’s of tickets have gone for the home game, know 1 supporters club missed out on 9 this morning with all homes & have to tell people who’ve haven’t missed a game there’s no ticket for this game ...
LFC you are making people ill with some of your decisions.....
Do they ever listen, people in charge maybe use a bit of common sense in future

Anyone getting the train into Manc? What’s the best way getting back to station on foot? Or trams?

I'm coming from the otherside but yes. We walked back into the centre after last seasons game and it took about 30 minutes, at a pretty quick pace. Never done either Manc away on the trams but meant to be pretty handy - just not sure how much you can rely on them, given how busy they'll be?

Anyone know if there's a chance of being held back?

Previously informed we’d have to collect in Manchester.  Just received text saying:

“Freemsg. Tickets for UEFA CL QF in Manchester will now be sent via special delivery to your registered address today. Check your email for further details.”

Does this mean there’s no longer going to be a collection in Manchester?

We’ve always got a taxi from Piccadilly to the ground but walking back after the game to Piccadilly is the easiest option to get back due to the buses/trams being rammed full.

I'd say on foot. Last time I got a tram the queue took ages and last time I got the bus the windows got smashed in.

Lucky enough they rang me earlier about canceling the collection in Manchester.

Told me they decided it wasn't "feasible" for Liverpool fans to pick them up on the day. No idea what took them so long to decide this. Anyway, told me I can pick it up from anfield whenever. Then in LFC ticket office style they sent me a text 20 minutes later saying it was being sent in the post.

Went down the ground after work to see what was going on, and thankfully it was still there. I can go myself now anyway, just glad all that drama is over.

Let's hope its as good as our last European trip to manchester  8)
