Don’t think he played any better then previously this season.
If he is on the up it’s a very soft curve.

It’s great he scored though, but his build up play was problematic too often.
Anyhow, let him rest midweek and hopefully nick another one on the weekend.

Fine margins. On another day he could have had two, or if he had snatched at that chance in the first half (the way he has been doing all season long) he may not even have scored the one. He'll be fine and had a very decent first half but he really, really needs to stop giving the ball away as much as he's been doing.

I think salah is on the verge on breaking out again. Yes, his passes were sloppy...but he was still the most lively forward yet again. I guess its all about timing for him. A few more games and he should be back to his best.

Underweighted passes all game long... We can’t yet afford to give him a rest, he’s that good, but he needs to sort this out. He’s playing below his exceptionally high standard. The goal was well taken, but squandered chances for others. Yet, he ends up with a goal when on “poor form”.

We can, you know. We really can. Oddly, he's arguably the one we can most afford to rest, in that he's got the best natural replacement in Shaqiri.
