Isn't it obvious?
They think women will want a short, tight shirt that fits them like all their other tight tops in their wardrobe.

So they've made it as 'feminine' as possible, i.e. to fit around the curves and show the arms.

Similar to how footy clubs tend to have 'women's ranges' consisting of scarves and other stuff with pink in them.

Agreed.  Things got too close to pink at times under Reebok but I do think we should be playing in a brighter red than the current incarnation.

On a fashion front the leaning towards a darker hue works but that shouldn't be the only consideration.

Today's Anfield Wrap video helpfully illustrates things, with the background being what I think of as LFC red and Neil's jumper being the current preference.

I think his jumper is really more maroon than anything else.

Interesting, would actually quite like to see a yellow one, the 14-15 away was the last time we had one but it was a bit naff. The 06-07 one was pretty good but we rarely get them anymore.

Yeah, I understand. I assume you are a female who has to endure this pain.
Like I said, it's myopia on the part of the kit manufacturers and the club.
You'd have thought they would have consulted a focus group or similar before releasing these kits.
As it turns out, the women's kit offering just seems to be a token gesture, or worse still a bit 'stereotypically feminine'.
Shame really seeing as the club really pushes the 'diversity' envelope and yet only offers the short-sleeve with its limitations to our female fans.

You'll just have to buy it AND some underlayers like Salah wears!
More money for the club!

That home kit is beautiful. YNWA sleeve detail is a really nice touch.

I'm less keen on the other two, but I'd definitely settle for the collection in reality, just for the sake of having such a lovely home kit.

I'd love to see those design principles applied to the traditional away and 3rd kit colour combos (attached).

Also, they are basically a plain red tee with the logos on them - no manufacturer is going to make that as it’s too simple to copy.

Heard some information today that next kit will be made by Under Armour and next sponsor Axa . Also heard new kit next seasons home has white vertical stripe like 1984 kit . Away is supposedly white top , navy blue shorts and white socks with navy at the top . Third I was told is silver with a white pattern . Don’t know how true or not but just posting what I was told . Time will tell

Very nice! i do love the green and black kits but what about a yellow one and a white n red?

New Balance have done really well with their kits. Especially the home ones. I sort of like how we have a different manufacturer to the rest.

Nike make nice kits, but the fact they sponsor everyone detracts a little bit. It’s scandalous to say on here, but I’ve never liked Adidas stuff. The less said about Puma the better.

I would happily keep New Balance on, but I suppose the sensible thing is to go with whoever offers the most money. If we have to switch I hope the Nike rumours are true.

the standard chartered logo and Nike ticks in yellow not white for the white ones and it’s amazing, then again it would be better than what we’d get off nike

Regarding the new kit, I'm usually in town on a Friday but I'm not today, so I'll have to wait to see it in the flesh.
