Free open training session for members/STs

Liverpool FC are delighted to offer all 2013-14 LFC official members and season ticket holders the rare chance to see their heroes up close and personal in an exclusive open training session at Anfield on Monday, August 5.

This fantastic FREE ticketed event will give up to 10,000 members the opportunity to watch Brendan Rodgers put the first team through their paces from the Kop.

Members will also enjoy a unique question and answer session with Rodgers, followed by a cheque presentation on behalf of members to the Liverpool FC Foundation.

Fifty lucky members will also be given the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience to meet players in a private photo and signing session. For more information click here.

The event will include some fantastic on-the-pitch prizes, entertainment, free LFC giveaways and a special appearance from our mascot, Mighty Red - look out for more information coming soon.

Tickets for this event will be available to all members and season ticket holders from 8.15am on Wednesday, July 17 by clicking here.

Once you have registered, your membership card will be activated to allow entry to the stadium on the day.

Tickets for Little Liver members can be obtained by calling 0843 170 5000.

Disabled members can obtain a ticket by calling 0843 170 5555.

If you're not a 2013-14 LFC official member or a season ticket holder and want to attend the event you need to join LFC Official Membership by midnight on Monday, July 15 by clicking here.

If you join LFC Official Membership and haven't received your membership card by Friday, August 2 please phone 0843 170 5000. If you have lost your membership card, please contact 0843 170 5000.

Please note: access to this event is by ticket only. Walk-ups will not gain access into the stadium. One ticket per member will be allocated.

Sky Sports in Germany showed Guardiola's first training session live.  Wonder if LFCtv or anyone else will do the same with this training session.

Engages with kids and the kids love him. Gets them more into Liverpool and are more likely to have them come to the match in future and get their parents to buy merchandise from the club. You're right, it's a fucking shit idea!

What a strange thread to bump to say that.

He is for the kids, if they like him and it makes their day a bit better (be it on a match day or if he goes into hospital to see the kids there as they've done) then who cares.
