Saw Goosebumps last night with the missus.

Meh. Standard fare, with a few (obvious) twists.. Not that great, but OK I suppose.

The 3D though was probably the worst 3D I've experienced. I had to keep taking my glasses off to check there was actually any 3D in there.

Deadpool on Friday..

Can't wait for Deadpool tonight.

I've always kind of liked Ryan Reynolds even though he's been in some utter tripe in his career.

Going to see Deadpool at 11:55  :D
As for Ryan Reynolds I'm not that bothered...he's not bad in some stuff like The Voices or The Nines, don't get the hate really , he is what he is - he may do a McConaughey n a few years, you never know.

Got Deadpool tomorrow and Zoolander on Saturday. Both on my own as the Mrs is away for the weekend but that means I can pick a time that suits me and do what I want!

Can't wait for Deadpool, been looking forward to it for ages

Deadpool is hilarious....found myself laughing most of the way through.
Really enjoyed it. I think the digs and self referential stuff actually worked really well.
It's actually better than I thought it would be, much better.

There was so many

Spoiler
The "Drive-by" fart he did to his blind landlady just cracked me up, when she says "love is blind" and he's like "no you are" - the wanking looking at his unicorn, just so much wrongness and hilarity - actually loads of the landlady stuff had me in stitches

Well the trailer is nothing really it's like Deadpool "lite"  - the jokes are way sicker, the language far worse and just higher levels of wrongness all together.

Def go see it.

About to watch Child 44. Looking forward to it. Tom Hardy has been a stand out actor from the Hollywood for me in last few years.
The biggest problem anywhere in the world is that people's perceptions of reality are filtered through the screening mesh of what they want, and do not want, to be true.

That's the fella!....cracking example of the time-travel-genre....particularly when you put it on expecting just another bog standard 20-somethings-in-danger horror movie like I did....recommended to those who may have missed it and want to induce a headache  8)

watched Triangle, thought it was pretty good, definitely considering the budget (some atrocious CGI storm shots aside).
having said that i thought it was deravitave of a Coherence (looks like it was made after, oops) and Virus, both of which are better movies imo.

Oh wow.... really?
Why did they make that again, I'm assuming it's a remake.

Fuck me.... are we that desperate that we're remaking films that are only just over a decade old.

Oddly Eli Roth, the director of the original, is an executive producer on the remake. To me that means he's rubber stamped it. Absolutely fucking bizarre!

I'm sure most people in the world could think up an original premise for a horror film pretty much on command....not saying it would be a winner but it's not like the original CF lit a fire under the world!

Weirder still is theyre using the exact same script. The cast last time were D List at best, this lot could be straight out of Big Brother, not heard of any of them ... hmmmm ..... strangely I feel I need to watch it !

Cabin Fever is probably just a south-'merican, money laundering tax-scam.

To be honest - I don't mind the concept of remaking - depending on how good it is. I quite liked the original and will give this a go just to see it... But whilst the acting was a bit ropey in the original (at times), these guys look like amateurs compared to the original cast.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, this kind of production will only pick up speed and films will become somewhat like Theatre is - the global audience is up for grabs and a short-production, low-outlay for the international PPV/Cable audience can still give a return.

Whilst Cabin Fever is hardly a classic - it does, have a decent plot and storyline - it isn't a bad story by any means.

I've always championed 'remaking' - but I won't drone on about it again for the sake of Titi's tits.  ;D

I quite like a remake but an English language remake of an English language film that is like 14 years old is just ridiculous.
It makes no sense.
