Well, in a match where we pretty much dominated the first 75 minutes, the fact that we were only able to create 1 goal out of all those chances caused a very stressful last 15+ where they finally put on an attack, where a single goal could have turned that all back around. Still, we held on, and it's a win.

Good possession and field control out there today, and created a number of good chances. Still the usual bit about the lack of finishing. A plus out of this was a very nice performance out of Jones though, good to see for him. And, onward and upward.

Finally a win at Anfield. We need to take our chances, should have scored 5.

Impressed by Enrique when he came on. Nobody played bad. And that finish by Sterling.... Get in! Hopefully the first of many for our club.
Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.

Hopefully some day we'll take more than one of our chances, so we don't have to defend for our lives at the ends of games against teams we should really be beating quite comfortably.

Jones excellent today, saved us the three points. We weren't great but his stops were big and he looked assured in goal, no jitters...can't ask for much more.

We played fairly well going forward, bar the terrible finishing.

At the back, we continue to look extremely vulnerable. Our defense is not being well protected by the midfield.

Quiet match from Suso but I thought he looked crisp when he did have the ball.

Well done Brad Jones on the clean sheet.

Thank fuck for that. That second half was excruciating to watching, knowing what's happened in the past, and how wasteful we'd been that day.

But a win is a win. And one at Anfield for that matter. And also a clean sheet.

Very, very happy (relieved).

Not hugely convincing but good win for us.  We've stopped the rot and eased the pressure a bit.  We were cut open too many times and personally, I don't get why Enrique is being left out for Wisdom - maybe injured? Anyway, I'll take it.

Im gonna start with a negative. Suarez can not be that wasteful. Its just too much.

Positives: Sterling gets his first goal, great stuff. i wish he would try take his man on more but well played. We kept a clean sheet, woohoo. Suso has some really nice moments and lovely touches. hes only young so i am not expecting him to be a game changer but i love watching him play. these games are going to help him become something special. Also jones saving a 1v1! hope you watching pepe ;)

Stoke was a story of frustration, this was more like anxiety. Could have had a more relaxed afternoon but for some better finishing, but three points will do.

On my stream we seemed to miss an awful lot of decent chances.
Great finish from Raheem and a lovely ball from Suarez.
Jones did well in goal.

3 points and a clean sheet - job done!!!

Good first half performance, not so good second half.

I think we can rightly blame the midweek internationals for the performance dropping off in the second half. Our squad is too thin and we cannot rest enough players.
