Half time: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

Good in patches, poor in others, about what you'd expect from a mix of kids and reserves. Gordon looks promising and Bradley was decent until the penalty incident. Glad Minamino got himself on the scoresheet and great for Kelleher's confidence to save the pen.

Hopefully we can see this one out, would be nice to see the likes of Morton and Balagizi get off the bench too.

Curtis is on a completely different planet to the Norwich midfield.  Just strolling around, casually twirling his cane and doing whatever the hell he wants.  Great showing so far.

AOC not so much.

Decent half. Fringe players and youngsters putting a shift in. Some really good individual performances. Kelleher and Jones in particular.

I like Kelleher. Looks fairly assured. Poorly given away, but hopefully that penalty wakes them up a bit because it came at a time when things were starting to get a little stale.

Some good stuff there. Nice to get the early goal and if we can get the next one it should be enough, but there's no guarantees Norwich will score. They ended well but we saw them out, bit clumsy from the young lad Bradley but he's only 18. Centre halves have looked very solid, as has Kelleher. Big moment for him that save.

Good result so far. Performance patchy which you'd expect. Really struggling in midfield as expected without a ball winner and the forwards struggling to really get in the game.

Centre halves playing well and keeper solid. Need to defend well as they're easily playing through us when they drive forward. We'll likely need Hendo on.

Jones has had an excellent half, playing quite deep but seems to be handling it well, a few gaps have appeared but the midfield is so attacking it's not a huge shock.

Our passing seemed to fall apart a bit after the first 20 though, every attack seeming to break down because a 5 yard pass was misplaced.

Quite good.

Gordon and Bradley were good apart from the penalty which Conor will learn from.

I’d like to see a bit more quality and effort from Keita and Ox.

Good header from Origi for the goal and a good strike by Minamino.

Konate just brilliant.

Bradley played very well, silly challenge in the box, but the attacker leaned in to get the pen - but he will learn. Hope it doesn't knock his confidence as he has been great.

Lack of cohesion at times, but its a bit of a mixed team. I think Curtis could run this game if he got involved a bit more.

Decent half, need a few players to put their stamp on the game a bit more though

Gomez, Kelleher and Jones have been outstanding. Good showing from Bradley too, missed the pen incident but read it was a challenge from him but other than that everythings been really good.

Konates positioning is a little strange at times, caught ballwatching too often.

Not bad. We have done well in parts Overall Norwich playing the more fluent football and breaking quickly but that is to be expected. Would like to see more from AOC, Naby and Minamino (even though he scored).

Your usual League Cup fayre.  Good seeing the young uns having a go, Kelleher has been good, Chamberlain less so. They’ve all been a bit sleepy at times.

If I was Daniel Farke I’d be getting Andy “now I do not believe you wanted to do that” Hinchcliffe to do the half time team talk. If they’d followed his advice and not under hit/over hit/misplaced passes, and scored instead of letting Kelleher save it they’d be ahead.

Midfield very loose - Keita looking like an AM playing as a DM and Ox looks lost.

Should be expected from a disjointed team, but think we could do with a bit more control in the middle though.

A bit of The good the bad and the ugly, but only to be expected with the side we have.

Willing Ox to do well but keeps choosing the wrong option. Thought Curtis has done well.

Still the better side but somewhat unsurprisingly disjointed and look open at times but a little more quality in the final third and we’ll be fine.

I do not understand why they must play the same 4-3-3 formation with this team. Do something that will get the best out of the players on the pitch. So odd.

Pretty comfortable, without being spectacular. Good penalty save, although it was a hopeless penalty. You wouldn't say Norwich fans were creating a cauldron of noise out there, but then I guess this competition is more of distraction to them.

Ox is having a nightmare so far.

For a mix side we're doing really well.  It shows much we miss Fab though as they are picking the ball in in front of our back four with so much time and space.

AOC not so much.

I think our midfield in general isn’t clicking well. They all look like they don’t want anything to do with each other. I didn’t see many passes between Jones, Chamberlain or Keita. It’s hurting our possession quite a bit.

Love the Minamino goal though.

Curtis looking brilliant. Ox (and to a lesser extent) look like they badly need games but I'm just not sure when or where they get them, other than this one! Bradley and Gordon doing OK, until the pen for Bradley. But great save from Kelleher which will do his confidence no harm at all.

Overall, we look like a Mish-mash team of reserves and kids. But we're better than their ressies and kids. Absolutely no worries we won't be ahead in another 45

We're getting bullied a bit off the ball, expected when you've got 2 teenagers on the field, but we're going to have to find a way to move the ball around better than we have so far.

Some really good stuff from Kelleher, Konate and Gomez( real captains performance so far).
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close
