Wouldn’t play VVD for this personally

I would. They're playground bullies, you've got to stand up to them and show them what streaks of piss they really are. I want Virgil to score and just coldly stare at the home crowd. Fucking bells. Thiago to score another piledriver, deflected off Richie-La's cock.

Come on Redmen!!
I agree Henry K and so does Jurgen, from what he said after Saturday, that getting out with three points and no major injuries is the task in hand.
If they do get players back they will not be match fit, so they will go as solid and organised as possible. First goal really is key so we can make it about quality and then they cannot match us. Should be a straightforward win, just looking forward to no significant injuries. Will be a few cards again I suspect from the Blues.
Come On You Mighty Scouse Reds!!

Think Jurgens comment on MOTD summed it up. It was something like “we will go there and try to play football, let’s see what the other team want to do”. Jurgen knows the score, he will have them focused.

One of them will at least try to attempt a leg breaker. Having a battle with them and scraping a 1-0 win isn't what we want. The record at their place is 5-0, that's all our players need to know.

Don't get dragged down to their level, just keep putting the ball in the back of the net. Expect no help from the officials.

Still can’t believe Coote is allowed to go near any of our games, or just any game in general. Speaks volumes that they did pull him from any involvement with us for about a year. You have to be blind not to see he had it out for us in that game after having previous. Pathetic little turd.

Their fans know they have no chance of winning playing football, and are already actively baying for blood (or rather broken legs)

Just got to let our footy do the talking. Whether or not the game ends in injuries will be entirely dependent on how the ref reacts to any of their shithousing.

And at any rate, our players are big and experienced enough to take it. They aren´t the first bunch of shithouses we have put to bed, and they won´t be the last.

Everton away. Biggest game of the season. Always has been and always will be the game I want to win more than any of the other 37.

I would take any sort of win. Most preferable would be a scrappy goal or controversial pen in injury time to win 1-0 after Everton have been the better team for the previous 90. I’m not fussy though. I’d take a comfortable 3-0 victory with no injuries as well
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

We'll win though what sort of damage will have been done to our season after the game we'll have to see. Would be nice if it was officiated properly, when they commit a leg break attempt after 5 mins it's not "too early to send someone off in a derby" and if it "ruins the spectacle" then that's their problem not ours or the refs.

If we score early this should be an absolute walkover. I won't get into the weeds of their tactics - but like our boss I hope this is a football game and not a fight. I appreciate form goes out the window in a derby etc etc but these are absolutely fucking shite and we should be putting 3 past them without breaking a sweat.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

Absolutely no concerns about this as a football contest.  They have a few lively runners up front and might get in behind us a couple of times but nothing to stress about.  We are just far too good and, since the international break, have the luxury of a few options across most of the pitch.

I'm just hoping Everton approach it as a football game and not a chance to write themselves into Everton folklore with awful challenges.  Holgate not playing removes one liability.  Richarlison the biggest risk.

I'm expecting the away end to pull out a few Rafa chants.  How the Everton fans respond will give a good indication if he has any goodwill left from that decent start they made (13pts from 6 games, rapidly deteriorating into 15pts from 13 games!).

Really looking forward to this. Would love to get to that Chelsea game on January 2nd with maximum points. We have 3 big aways before it - this, Spurs and Leicester. Any type of 3 points with no injuries would be ideal.  Important period this 5 weeks.

I will never understand the mangled regurgitation that passes for offside these days. How can a player's fucking hand be judged offside when the rest of him isn't?

Offside should at least only apply to the feet. If they're worried about arms, that's what fucking handball is for.

Kudos to Klopp for reminding people - especially the officials - of the blueshite's propensity for footballing thuggery. Hopefully it'll make the ref, & their players, aware that everyone will be watching out for them to indulge in their normal derby day shithouse behaviour.

I agree with this. I don't like to see teams do it but we need to be in the refs ear from their very first dirty tackle. I'm sure Hendo and Robbo will but the rest all need to do it too. We gotta stand up to these thugs and not let the ref shrink from his duty.

Klopp should highlight their type of "play" in the lead-up. What's the worst they will do? They're going to do what they always do, play dirty.

Great preview by the way Henry, that pic is gold.
