...That train line that is still in use today that comes from Broadgreen and turns off before Wavetree Tech really needs looking at again I think. It goes behind Tuebrook Market where there is surely enough room for a train station and there is also loads of room off Utting Avenue as well. Am I right in thinking that once it reaches Kirkdale in turns around and heads towards town?

Yeah, there's a time warp back to 1957 but at least the tickets are cheaper than you'd expect.

G a r y:
People buy tickets for trains? News to me

Redric1970:
My son suffers from seriously bad travel sickness so I looked at getting a train up
For the inter game last week (from Essex) I nearly fainted at the cost £481 for the 2 of us, so he just had to put up with a sick bag lol, the price of train travel is ridiculous.

Peter McGurk:
While we're all going down footy history lane elsewhere and for all us Choo-choo lovers out there, just imagine the cost of getting this

and how much of it a stadium could or should afford

Cafe De Paris:
Wonderful links for us choo choo lovers Pete. Nice one. I spent a lot of my youth on that aintree to Bootle container line. It’s a pity there isn’t the investment or forward thinking to reopen those lines as the roads became more congested.
