Cah, you sound just like David Brent...."do you want the good news or tha bad news 1st" (There are going to be redundancies, but I've just been promoted! Every cloud.....)  ;)

I know, sorry!!  :-[ I still need 2 more though, like I said, so really hope it goes past the sales announced so far.

I had already posted yesterday that I was hoping for seats behind the goal somewhere but wasn't convinced there would be any (after the semi fiasco when there were none for kop STH) so I was just relieved. So was just happy that I had got what I wanted for once. Will be gutted if my mates can't go too thou after not getting tickets in the ballot for the FACF!  :(

I am one of those who was unable to get tickets for the FA final because of the ballot.  I'd be astounded if it all balloteers didn't get an opportunity to get tickets.  That would mean all qualifying STHs have secured tickets.  I can't see that.  Some people reckoned this would go to general 3 days ago.

However, I can see another ballot looming.  Its getting like groundhog day.

Didn't have to wait at all in a queue on the phone, got four tickets in L41 (i think) row 19, maybe a bit low for me, but i've been lower there.

Only had £30 tickets left apparently tho, so not sure when they will sell out

What do you think the chances are that this will go to general sale then, am desperate to go and live in cardiff so it would be nice to see it, being it should be the last one here.

Well it could do but it depends on the demand.  After tickets go to cup final ballot people, there will be a sale to season ticket holders with one credit.  By then i expect tickets to be all sold.

I can see most ballot people taking up their allocation, I know I will.  If this this goes to general I'll be amazed.

it will go to general. If a seasie with 1 credit, couldn't be bothered goin the chelsea game and the final, then they ain't gonna bother goin the charity shield. Therefore the majority of ST's who wanna go, already have their tickets.

I have just been down to the ground to buy my ticket  :)(on a borrowed season ticket). There was only 4 people queueing and I got there at 9.20. When I left about 15 mins later, no-one else had turned up. The fella at the window said that there were £15, £20, £30 and £40 tickets still available (that is all of the prices I think ???).

I'm still not sure.  I expect most FC's that missed out on the final to take their tickets.  There won't be many left after Wednesday.

I accept your point that most ST'S that wanna go already have their tickets but as soon as STs with one credit realise they qualify they'll pass them on.

They might (as already suggested) make it open to FCs with one credit.  That would surely sell the game out.

I think there will be a number of tickets going on general sale, after the ballot boys have taken theirs. The best thing would be to get to the ground early on the general sale day to have a good chance of getting one. If you wait and use the phone it will be unlikely you get through as the demand will be massive.

i dont give a fuck if you agree with it or not or think its expensive.  i just thought it might help someone.

for what it worth i think its a rip off and i thought the club had banned such touting (refers to the anfield tickets on sale at lastminute.con)

i've got a ticket so i wont be using these touts but better that the tickets are bought by us than chelsea Chelsea

by 'helping someone' this time, you're fuckin everyone else up in the future. If these companies sell the tickets an make a fortune, they will do it more and more in the future. If no one buys the tickets off them, then they will stop touting them, and real fans will be able to get them off the club.

So, thanks for wanting to 'help someone', but don't go advertising touts.

I'm not saying that I agree with it, but its not that much of a rip off really. Its £70 face value for the ticket and with the hotel stay etc, its probably worth doing once a season for a daytripper.
