Will make Firmino's role in the team even more effective. Every time he comes deep and brings a central defender with him will allow runs in behind from both wide positions with Mane and Salah's pace and ability to run off the ball. Also explains why we maybe seeing Coutinho playing deeper as he'll be able to play those longer distance through balls more accurately then the rest of our midfielders. Exciting times.

Very good observation. I expect that Mane and Salah will be playing as inverted wingers, attacking the space you are describing there.
