Lovely goal.  Very pleased for him.

He took the winning penalty in the 5-5 Arsenal game and that's done him the world of good.

Ridiculous goal.  Actually thought he had a pretty average game, too casual on the ball at times in the first half but looked better when he was moved to one of the forward positions instead of centre mid (even though I think that should be his position).

This will give him so much confidence though, the talent is there for all to see.

Seen him score a few goals like that  from there this season so no surprise when it went in.

Was a bit lackadaisical in the first half but it was all part of his cunning plan to lull them into giving him so much space [emoji16]

Ridiculous goal.  Actually thought he had a pretty average game, too casual on the ball at times in the first half but looked better when he was moved to one of the forward positions instead of centre mid (even though I think that should be his position).

He's trying to become a better footballer and IMO he's well on his way. The best midfielders always seem to have more time on the ball than everyone else and that doesnt come about by accident. Its hard training and talent combined however it takes a brave player to develop the skills he is honing. It can look sometimes as if he's being lazy or not playing quick enough however he's learning how to use the maximum time he has in any situation he finds himself in. That will allow him over time to become a top midfielder.

He's far from perfect right now and kept hold of the ball a bit longer than he should have in the first half especially, however (as was demonstrated in his interview) the kid has ambition and thats reflected in the way he's trying to cultivate a playing style thats aimed getting to the higher levels of the game.

I sense he is too good to go on loan.  Klopp has used him as an unused sub countless times I think in the Premier League so perhaps he will be slowly brought through like TAA.

When the league is sewn up I expect to see him getting league games as we rotate for the CL and FA Cup

Probably would see him in midfield. Lacks the pace really for a front three role.

It would be brilliant for these kids to get time in the first team when the league is sewn up however it's risky if Klopp and the players want to be invincible or break the record points total.  I'm not arsed really because I want number 7 :)

Not sure. Think he might go out on loan.

He said he was becoming frustrated in not playing and it was rumoured he was going on out on loan. Klopp might loan him out so he gets match time.

Lallana was quality in the interview though to remind him Liverpool are the best club in the world.

Awesome strike.. A Coutinho strike in fact. Notice how he takes several steps backwards as soon as he hits it. The distribution of his body weight must have been nigh on perfect.

A hero already. Just hope he can show patience because he's already admitted his frustrations as this season at not playing. We've seen with Bobby Duncan young players can want it all now these days.

I think what we need to do with our best young players (from 18-19) is either they go out on loan and get experience or they're getting first team games. What Ferguson used to do successfully was give his best young players 10-15 first team appearances a season to start with, even just 10 minutes off the bench at 3-0 or whatever.

My worry is his patience.

After his interview I can smell the German clubs wanting to sign him already.

Needs to stay grounded. Lucky Lallana was on hand to help him do that in the interview.
