Khan's harmless really but he's a lot of fun to take the piss out of, especially when he's just announced a fight with Pacquaio only for it to get shot down by Manny's people again

Also, this thing about him being the most exciting British fighter to watch, hasn't really been true for a number of years has it? That Maidana fight was 9 years ago!

Cheers for the link. Will definitely read later. It is an 'open secret' that Liston had ties to the mob. It has been suggested that he took a dive in the second Ali fight, and possibly the first. Certainly, the second fight has always felt dodgy to me but we'll never know for sure. It could simply have been a case of a brilliant young fighter having too much for a fierce but flat-footed champion.

It is possible to like watching Khan fight and think he is a twat you know

He just comes across as a complete bellend; no idea if he actually is like. He has been involved in plenty of dramatic fights but should really be retiring now. I don't begrudge him the easy payday at the weekend either.
