I struggled to choose between Wall and Burmester. Didn't want to risk leaving out Stone as he could hose up against this kind of field if he brings his form from the tail end of last year. Wall has had excellent results at these tracks but Burmester has by far the stronger form coming into it.

A lot of your players are in touch though. Coetzee and Storm are capable of a 64 to get themselves back in it. Scott is ticking over quite nicely, he's only 5 off the lead.

If you make a double in the Honda Classic it can take you most of your round to get it back. There are so few birdie holes; just 2 par 5s and the flags are tucked in awkward positions.

I owe Nacho Elvira a thanks because I read an article on the European Tour website where he said this "My fellow Spaniard Pep Angles has only had a couple of chances so far, because he didn’t get in in Abu Dhabi and he wasn’t in Dubai either. He didn’t have any Challenge Tour status at the start of last year, so getting your European Tour card with no status at the beginning of the year is a great accomplishment. I think Pep is going to do great this year". I saw this was a weak field and thought this might be the time to take a punt. He's doing well so far but he still needs to win his first match to guarantee points.

Regarding Pep Angles, I Had to search for this post from Gerry that had stuck in my mind but found it eventually.

Backed him at 58.0 after the first round on Thursday.  He's just 2 shots off the lead with 18 holes to play and he's still 29.0 on Betfair. I might reload tonight depending on how I do on the football today.
