The following will deffo start:

Kelleher
Neco
Konate
Tsimikas
Morgan
Minamino
Ox
Origi

Haven't a clue who the remaining 3 will be.
Ox to be captain?

Klopp will always put out an 11 to be competitive in a game and balanced with what the medical team are telling him about how this game may impact on the first-teamers for the upcoming games. He's admitted that much.
As this is not a home game - where Klopp tends to play as strong a line-up as he can to honour the Anfield fans - I can see us going with one of the 'weakest' line ups for a CL game.

Does anyone know the full travel party? Which young lads might get an appearance? Assume Morton starts again, deserves it.

Would like to see Nat get 45 or 90.

                              Tea lady

Kit man     Medic    Physio’s anatomical skeleton   Dinner lady

Press officer   Ball boy   Kit mans Labrador

              Cardboard cutout of Lionel Richie

Tea lady’s goldfish     Mop and bucket

Tea lady is a bit weak for me.......just like her tea.
Kit man.......I expect him to be well turned out. He always looks good and this will be a big game to show what he can do.
Medic......will be useful if the game gets nasty. Will save vital seconds if somebody gets badly injured.
Physio’s anatomical skeleton........he'll give the defence a good spine. Could fall apart if put under pressure.
Dinner lady.......looking forward to seeing what she serves us up.
Press Officer........I expect some high quality pressing from him when we don't have the ball.
Ball boy........rarely holds onto the ball and gives it back far too often. Needs to work on his retention.
Kit mans Labrador........this lad has pedigree. He's full of energy but chases the ball too much. Tends to fall asleep after half time. Needs a good run out though.
Cardboard cutout of Lionel Richie...........really....Hello, Sail On. The guy is like a statue and is often caught offside. Too Still at times. Not mobile enough. All night Long our worst player. Klopp Just Can't Say Goodbye to this guy and it's time he was shifted on and found a new club. From a distance he looks like the real thing but he's a fake. I'm not a fan.
Tea lady’s goldfish.......hasn't played for a while so could be like a fish out of water. Good diver though and will hopefully get us a penalty. Hard to catch.
Mop and bucket.......will show their defence a clean pair of heels. Can drop back into defence where he'll clean everything up.

Not bothered about who we play as our starting 11. Not bothered about Atletico Madrid.

Just go there and win.

Mental that we've not played at the San Siro.
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

I agree with the players you have starting.

Any senior player who has travelled will surely play some part. Not 100% sure of the travelling party but if the likes of Salah, Mane, Fabinho, Matip are there then I'd expect them to play some part. I'd be hugely surprised if we made them travel if they aren't going to play any part in the game.

I suspect there'll be a few pre-planned subs on 45. I wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Salah and Mane do 45 minutes each. Same with Phillips and Matip or Gomez. Might even get Keita some minutes and share 90 with Fabinho.

There's players who've travelled who I wouldn't even have taken, personally, let alone give them minutes. As long as the staff are happy with the way they're being managed though in regards to their fitness and energy levels, I'll shut my face.

I'd like to see:

Same here but if we've taken them then they'll be playing at some point.

I wonder how much say the players have in this. How many of them want to play in all CL games? How many want to play at San Siro since it might be the last chance to play there ever for this set of players?

He can squeeze up as required. Also good mop to man on the keeper on corners,  generally very quick to pounce on any spillage. Still dont understand how Swiffer gets in ahead of him all the time, media hysteria imo. Swiffers so high maintenance where m&B has always been so reliable. Just not flashy enough i guess.

Wtf??

But then it seems to be the same problems we have in Italy. It’s like a badge of honor for the Italian ultras or something.

Didn’t hear any incidents with their support when they played in Liverpool.

Their fans are decent, as ever a select few acting like bellends I would imagine.

That said, I went in 2008 and the Inter fans were mostly sound with us because it wasn’t long after 05 (they had a massive banner up saying something like ‘no matter what happens we will never forget 2005’ which is very Everton but anyway, when Torres scored there were coins raining down and some fella threw his crutch over the Perspex dividing wall, which was funny when he realised he’d then lost his crutch.

Obviously got to be careful lumping fans together who happen to be from the same city but I did get the feeling it could have kicked off if it was anyone other than us, but maybe that’s just the feeling you get when you have to arrive at any away ground by armoured bus.

Yep, I agree with you.
I think we'll start with the line-up I posted, with a few first-teamers chucked in like Mane.
And then either at 45 mins or 67 mins or IF we need a boost (for whatever reason) we'll bring on the likes of Salah, Fab etc.

Thanks for the OP PIM. While it’s fantastic that we’re through already, it’s still a great opportunity to play Milan in the San Siro and I’m sure that’ll help whatever team plays rise to the occasion.

It’s also nice to be able to relax when watching us play on the odd occasion as every league game is pretty tense at the moment, well at least until we’re 4-0 up.

Just gonna enjoy the match whatever team plays. Come on Red men

Rest everyone important. Milan winning means Atletico go out. Just let them win. It's worth it losing a £m to see them lot go out.

People will complain about our line up tonight if Salah etc start. But interesting to see City starting Walker, De Bruyne, Grealish, Foden, Gundogan etc. tonight in a CL dead rubber despite Guardiola suggesting they were in the midst of a potential injury crisis.

Worth bearing in mind tonight the PSG, City, Bayern etc starting XIs and the lack of precedent for teams fielding very weak XIs in CL, when our team news drops and it’s not 11 reserves/youth players starting.

Klopp has hinted a lot more about rotation tonight than he did against Porto where he was more against it, so unlike Porto I will expect quite a few changes tonight and be more surprised if there was not.

What the poster is expressing is a deep hatred for these Atleti cnuts, nowt much wrong with that. Combine that with resting our top players for the league, and you can align with the sentiment of fielding the tea ladies and their caterers. Nowt much wrong with that either. It's risk versus reward. Was it worth the £1m last year with Midgetland (we drew) the Jota injury? No one can forecast that, but one can forecast the risk. Salah could get injured too (imagine that!).

Anyway, it won't matter because Porto would batter those cnuts!

This shot alone of the San Siro tells you it's seen better days.  :(

Might as well let them get their arses handed to them by City or Chelsea in the next round than finish 3rd and have them win another Europa League. Maybe they'd even do us a favour if they could beat Chelsea/City/PSG/United.

It’s always struck me as a weird stadium. It’s one of those you instantly recognise on TV. Even the footage just feels different.

I never got the feeling it was particular intimidating either.

Is it Milan fans though? It may well be but Juventus supposedly have more fans in the Milan area than they do in Turin.
Good point. I never knew that lot had fans in Milan.

I just checked the story again and they were the usual nobs in all black. No colours, so could be anyone really. I was initially surprised because I don't recall us ever really having any issues with the Milanese nor them with us, so for it to happen in Milan did surprise me. Hopefully it's just an isolated incident.

Anyway, Come On Liverpool.  :scarf

So tonight will be Milan's AC team vs. Liverpool's B team.
