Bar the Bolton game, none of our victories have been convincing.

Think that'll change tommorrow. 3-0 to the Redmen.

Yikes. You do realise we're not Barcelona, right?

They don't lose 3-0, and that isn't going to change tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, I think we'll win by the odd goal, but fuck me some people go over the top. 3-0 isn't going to be the scoreline.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

What are you on about?

Henderson is too inexperienced for this game.  Swap him for Kuyt and you've got yourself a plan...

I especially like how Reina is playing as a sweeper.

They'd have lost 3-0 at Anfield last year, bar a stupid loss of concentration.  Their defence is weakened and we are a better team going forward.

Is was a matter of minutes from being the score line in our last encounter.

Still, wouldn't stick any money on it.

In my defence, I was busy posting my reply and only saw this beauty shortly afterwards.

Had I seen that formation though my stance would still be the same. The scoreline won't be 3-0, it'll be 30-0, because obviously Man Utd don't have an attack these days or score any goals, so playing 3 defenders at the back, two of which are not central defenders, one being a midfielder, would be the best formation to use. I just hope to god that Kenny browses this forum otherwise he won't get to see it.

Sarted a new job this week so my mind's been a bit preoccupied till tonight, but I'm buzzing for this now!

Can't imagine what will happen regarding the outcome of the match though because (like the derby lasy week) basically ANYTHING could happen in this game.  I've got a feeling it's going to be one of those crazy results, one way or another (hopefully in our favour though)

All I ask is that we play 100% and leave everything out there.

United used to win titles on easy street, time for us to take over that real estate

We are still the most successful club in England... So let's not forget it. Ferguson, however stately his game might be, will not knock us off our perch in his lifetime.. it's not possible. I have looked at all the stats since the football league began and Man Utd are 3rd or 4th at best.. maybe 2nd to the Mighty Reds if you melted down all the silverware and sold it on the open market, but they are definitely behind us in every measurement apart from that annoying league title stat. Let's hope we beat them again tomorrow and push it a little further out of their grasp. WE ARE THE BEST.. Never nervous for this game but there are a few nerves ahead of this one, mainly due to the added expectation we now have. Heart says a 2-1 win but head says a 1-1 draw.

And the annoying FA cup stat.  And the annoying charity shield stat.

We are still ahead though -

2 European Cups, 2 UEFA cups and 3 league cups > 1 title, 4 FA cups, 4 Charity shields

I really hope we do aswell, but we won't.

It's funny, you see this every single time we play. Outrageous predictions coming on the back of nothing at all. It wouldn't even matter if we were absolutely flying right now, you don't go in to a game against the unbeaten champions, who are playing very well unfortunately, and predict a 3-0 scoreline to us, unless your tongue is firmly wedged in your cheek.

2-0? Possibly. 2-1? More likely. 3-0? Not a sniff.

But please, PLEASE, feel free to come back in here tomorrow night and call me all the names under the sun, and inform me that my mother blows goats, if we do indeed win 3-0. I shall not compain.

What is the point of worrying about this..we have spanked the Manc 4 times out of 6 in the league and have put 14 past them in reply to their 8. Let's just continue this average with a side that deserves to do better and not worry about it. form books are lying on the floor in front of my window and I predict a great game. Especially if Rooney starts and plays the Hokey Cokey.. You put your right leg in... your right leg out .. In out... in out... and now you'll find you're out... you do the hokey Cokey and your turned around that's what a squad is all about you stupid monkey boy!!!!!*@!

Er.. 2009 when we chased them lamely to the line, 4 points behind with not a chance of catching them... I remember Man Utd fans wandering around like Zombies from the Living dead when we spanked them 4-1 at Old Trafford. Tomorrow could go either way. That is the beauty of the beast that is LFC v Man U.. they throw form into the abyss and people like Gary Neville can start believing they are good looking.
