Woman in red coat
« on: January 7, 2017, 07:43:34 am »
Can anyone help please?
For seasons there was always a grey haired woman, often in a red coat, sat to the right of the dugout in the front row of the paddock.
Not seen her there this season. Has she moved to a less visible spec since the new stand opened? Is she ok? Does she still go to the match?
Thanks  :)

She is but just like the rest of us that had decent seats in the paddock we know all have worse seats and hardly anyone who was sat together that had got to know each other over many decades are now sat together

She's called Joan. Sits further back in the Lower MS now, nearer the exit. There was an American article about her last season but can't remember where now

I had a season ticket on row one of the main stand near the away dug out for about 20 years before being relocated due to the new one , i sat next to an elderly woman called diane who I imagine was 80 plus ( hope I'm right or near enough ) . She has been going to the match since she was a young girl . She told me once her father wanted a son as he loved the football and when one didn't arrive he just made sure he took his daughter .
