This is pretty mental..

https://twitter.com/swearingpoet/status/1620769474319368193?s=20&t=od4A4l13RSnzsfUv2mSOEQ

We switched our injury monitoring software in 2021 and us, Salt Lake, Rangers and Hull are all experiencing huge amounts of injuries

Software aside, Rangers, like us, had an insane amount of games last season and went all the way to Europa League final from the first qualifying round and have had a hangover from that. Not that it offers total mitigation but some. West Ham similar.

We've obviously gone wrong somewhere.

Would surely need to know how many clubs in total they work with as a starting point rather than looking at 4 clubs who they may not still be working with?

Going by Klopp’s presser last week, where he said Bobby, Virgil and Jota were all about two weeks from full training, they're probably on their own for now and back with team training next week. Would be nice if we had Virgil for the derby, and maybe the attackers on the bench.

On the one hand you'd want them back for the derby but on the other they'll be kicking lumps out of us. It'll probably come a week too soon.

Jota's back in full training next week according to Jurgen's presser! Diaz is out running as well now.

It is - although not for Ibou, here's what Jurgen said...... 'Ibou has a muscle injury. Again he didn’t think it was massive, it happened in the game, I asked him after the game, ‘Are you OK?’ and he said, ‘Yeah, I’m OK.’ After the game [he had] treatment, scan, bam, out.”

Seems like we get one or two coming back, then 'Bam'....someone else is out. Crazy !

Mad how all these minor knocks lead to extended spells on the sidelines, whereas other clubs have players stretchered off in agony and they're fine the next week (or even carry on that game).

So our injury management approach is... during the game, let the player decide he's fine and continue to do further damage, then after the game keep him sidelined for a year to guarantee he'll never get injured again? :D

Just scanning the injury table, looks like we will be back at full strength by the time we play United at Anfield. Just a month of misery left to endure!

Ibou, Virgil, jota, Bobby should all be sharp by then, and Diaz will be training with the lads, all being well

Unfortunately we don't have enough games to give the lads more recover days, so they will have to run the gauntlet and face the dangers of full training too many times for me to think we'll get close to full strength!

I wish it were as simple as this. But you know with almost total certainty there'll be another couple out by the time all the currently injured players are back.

How long till we get a few of these lads back? We’re totally fucked without them and seem to be getting worse. A shame we have to pin our hopes on returning injured players that will no doubt need time but desperate times and all of that..

Klopp said last week that Firmino, van Dijk and Jota would be back in training this week. Díaz is running but still 2 to 3 weeks away from full training. Arthur probably a similar time frame to Díaz and Konaté unknown (muscle injury but said to be minor).

Everyone else's fit as far as we know.

Sounds like Curtis Jones is probably going to be in and out for a bit. Though I wonder if this article is referring to the injury in the past - as in that's what kept him out?

To me it sounds like past tense in the sense that this is what has been troubling him most of the season, but also present tense in the sense that his workload has to be managed to keep the injury from coming back or getting worse. Probably explains why he has had a couple of absenses after seemingly returning.

We must have known about it when we renewed his contract, given the timing, so I'd imagine the part about potentially parting ways with him is just speculation by the writer.
