Good luck Brad!

Never good enough to be a serious competitor for the number 1 jersey but is a top bloke and has been through a lot of shit in his life. Can do nothing but wish him the best.
This gang of holey cheese making, Toblerone chomping, euthanasia loving, daft fucking penknives with about 90% shite that you'd never use in a normal lifetime, can go fuck themselves.

Well that went well.

Played 3 games in 2 months because he made mistakes and couldn't replace an average keeper.

Contract now cancelled by Bradford.

Just read that NEC have signed him as an emergency third-choice keeper.

Three clean sheets out of three helped his new side pick up seven points, propelling the promoted outfit to fourth in the Dutch league. Some good saves yesterday: looking good.

So he joined as a third choice keeper but he's now first choice and keeping clean sheets?

Well in, Brad.

Former Red Brad Jones is without a club and keeping fit by making up the numbers with Klopp's squad in pre-season training.

He left Dutch club NEC Nijmegen in June.

Not a bad start for him at Feyenoord. Won 5-0 away in his first start.

I believe he has started all 5 games for Feyenoord this season, they're top of the Eredivisie currently. Only conceded twice!

Wonder if he starts vs. United in their Europa League game this week?

Saw a clip from the Feyenoord - ADO Den Haag match where the away fans (Den Haag) dropped a bunch of teddy bears down to a group of sick children in the tier below, who were on a rare trip out of their hospital. Noticed Brad was playing for Feyenoord, and I'm sure he could appriciate the gesture from the Den Haag fans as much as anyone in the stands. Really happy for him starting for a good European club.

Surely he was a better choice to be our number 3 than a 40 year old Manninger? Particularly, as he was training with us in pre-season?
Although not quite sure he would have settled for that.
Good luck to him anyway. He deserves it all after what he has been through.
Also was a fine servant in his short time with us.

Hahahaha STEADY ON THERE.  Brad Jones, while a cracking human being, was terrrrrrrrrrible. Mignolet in his 'I have zero confidence. None. Please- kill me. Anything to make this game end and get me outta here' depths last year still looked like Buffon and Neuer's love child in comparison to Brad.  Brad Jones is by all accounts a great guy but not someone to get wistful about wishing he was still here.

I thought the tops was when some on RAWK were ass-blasting out "maybe we sold Aspas too quickly?" posts last year, but this might be my new favorite. To your point, absolutely, Manninger probably does not represent an upgrade. But by Fowler he can't be worse

Now, shade throwing aside, Brad Jones just kept a clean sheet against THE 2016 SWAGGERCHAMPS, and he's always been an absolute gent while dealing with some awful crap, so good on him.  All the best

Had another great game v PSV. His save at the end was awesome. Really upped his game. Doubt he will get dislodged if he keeps up his form when Feyenoord's Keeper crisis is over.

Good on the lad.

Had no idea what had become of him, and going down the thread it made grim reading. Released by Bradford, NEC, left without a club... but now starting for Feyenoord and they're top of the league.

Delighted for him. Thats a boss fanbase to play for, well when things are going well anyway!

I thought he actually improved a lot while here, granted it was from poor to average maybe but improvement is improvement now he's got himself a good club! He deserves it.

answered your own question there I think  :)

He's playing regular football in the dutch league, that's a long way away from being what is basically a training goalie here, with maybe a seat on the bench on the odd occasion.

Manninger is perfect for it. He doesn't expect to play, he won't be frustrated. He knows hir role at the club.

Played really well for Feyenoord en route to the title. Probably found the Dutch league much more to his style. Champions League for him now. Probably his best career move. Happy for him.
I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.

Classy stuff, well in Feyenood.

I don't mean to sound crass, as this is much more important than a game of football, bu them doing that while he's playing and while it's early in the game shows how important it was to them to show their respect. Because personally speaking, if I was in his shoes, I'd be crying my eyes out
