It's my big fear that after the great time we all had in Kiev (despite the result), Madrid will be as disorganised as Athens was, not helped by some of our own who basically couldn't behave themselves. I think around 50,000 will be Reds, and that Spurs could have around 20,000 in the City, only because they can't get accommodation or flights all taken by us. I also remember the dark days and in particular the "Battle of White Hart Lane" in the seventies when after Terry Mc scored a worldly in the FA Cup game there was carnage afterwards. Hope everyone has grown up since then and there's no repeat, the last thing we want is major disruption and trouble as the Spanish Police won't differentiate and hit anything.
Anyway, qualified for tickets as wife and I both have six home and Barca away. Hotel was booked weeks ago on a cancel if need to, and for four nights £604. Flights were only sorted about 2:30am after the Barca game, but managed to get Manchester to Palma, then Palma to Madrid for £268 return each.
Son flying from London to Santander, then coach to Madrid with someone he used to go to school with, whose cousin lives in Madrid and is putting them up in their house for free.
