Sounds like Trent is on the bench.
Nuñez not starting either… which makes sense…

Trent can’t be overplayed, need to be careful…

Is that official

Dare I ask who’s at right back then? Presumably Milner?

Haha once again, I hope not  ;D

Gomez on the right if we have another CB fit

Don’t think Konate is quite ready. I assume it would be Hamez again in that scenario. Robbo probably comes back in at left back.

If Nunez isn’t playing it’s a shame and leaves us pretty light. Mo and Bobby in a 2 with Harvey and Fab behind perhaps.

Any win will do as Jason Donovan once sang.

No need for a right back.

2 back, 2 midfield,  3 up top....and 1 in the hole ;)

I think better to have the Darwin wildcard on the bench.
Bring on at 60 mins against tiring legs.
If we're winning by then, great on the counter.

If we're not, then great as a (chaotic) battering ram.

Gutting for Darwin he doesn't get to feast on these and Bournemouth (that one his fault mind) but that's us, can't go a game without an injury. Wonder who it will be today?

Sigh. Disappointed he can't continue his good run today but with the way we already are we can't really risk it. Also, these are a team we should be able to hurt without him.

If Salah is through the middle again I'd fancy him for another today. Fucking come on redmen.

Darwin on the bench isn’t he? Aside from that, looking at the team we are so thin on the ground, crazy.

Someone in the club is making terrible decisions around the physical condition of our players. There's no way we should be getting so many injuries.

We've been getting injuries regardless. For years. Seems like we get them more frequently than any other club. It's actually ridiculous and a bit tedious now.

That’s not the worst team. Is it 4-4-2? Lot of creativity from midfield with Thiago, Elliott and Carvalho if so

Injury situation is obviously a real issue but that team is still better than most.

Nuñez will be a case of caution because of other injuries I reckon.  Our most important match in the next month is Wednesday, because if we get a draw we’re in Europe after Xmas.

I think Killer meant during the downtime we re-evaluate the fitness side of things, although aren’t we flying off somewhere to play AC Milan ?

Yeah this season and the covid season especially has been the worse for injuries. No wonder we waste money on having a bigger squad so we can cope with all these injuries. No idea how Salah keeps himself injury free so much (touch wood)

He was taken off with Nuñez in the last match …

What the hell happened since the press conference yesterday?

It’s still enough to beat Forest, but this isn’t sustainable.
