Embarrassing performance that. Just found myself constantly shaking my head throughout the second half. Played in front of them for most of it and on the rare occasion we did find a bit of space we wasted it. We managed 11 goals in our 3 CL away group games last season - this time around we've scored none and managed a measly three shots on target. Three fucking shots in 180 minutes of football. There's something seriously wrong at the moment.

Fair play to Red Star, they saw we were there for the taking and they took full advantage.

That was fucking tragic. Was meant to be going, it's my dream away but getting my tonsils out soon so saved the cash, almost grateful for that now. Midfield was pathetic, remarkable Keita wasn't the first sub on.

In massive trouble now in the group. And typically there's decent teams in the Europa waiting while the Mancs got a bye to the whole cup when they were in it.

I think the game was lost before a ball was kicked, Shaqiri should not have been left at home. By doing that we gave them a huge lift when they were already riding a tide of confidence.

Well this is the worse result in Europe in my lifetime.

Leaving Shaqiri out was an awful mistake I’m afraid not only did we miss him but I think it sent the wrong message to the squad.
Klopp has to take responsibility here.

Absolutely rotten performance, top to bottom, beginning to end. Combine how poorly we've played this season by and large with a sizable dash of complacency, and you get a result that has given us a mountain to climb to get out of the group.

A disturbingly bad performance. You would think that our poorest level should still be better than that at this point in Klopp's reign. Absolutely no redeeming features to that tonight. We have no real penetration, no pressing game, no ability to control a midfield. It has felt like we've been gradually losing our identity as the season has gone on. We need to find it again, and fast.
