Yeah I'm probably thinking way to much about it. I can't see the night king flying to Kings landing on his own as he generally doesn't do a lot of killing does he? That's what the whites are for and there's nothing to reincarnate if he killed them with dragon fire.

It would make a good story though, Him attacking Kings Landing the same time as the great war would be fun.

There was a trailer recently, where you see all of the main characters weapons (and Bran's wheelchair) lying in the snow in the apparent aftermath of a huge battle at winterfell..

I wonder whether that's because winterfell is abandoned and the fight is taken up somewhere else i.e. Kings Landing. So that theory makes some kind of sense.

Well the books haven't yet given an answer on the creation of the white walkers (and there is no Night King in the books, yet). So we'll see I guess. But I do think the location is meant to be the God's Eye in the show, though I can't recall when that was confirmed.

I think it will be victory after victory for the nights king until everything seems lost and someone will kill the Nights kings at the last moment hitting the reset button.

Here's a theory I just made up that I personally haven't heard before.

They keep saying Jon was brought back for a bigger reason what if Bran can use his powers to turn Jon into a good White walker with Dragon Glass into his heart that will allow him to get close to the Nights king taking him out but at the same time dying himself.

Even with how messed up the travel times have become recently in GoT, the absence of the Night King, this long after he flew through the wall, must surely mean he's gone to King's Landing or he's got something up his sleeve which isn't a straight assault on Winterfell. Obviously he could just destroy Winterfell on his ice dragon in one flyover but that wouldn't make great TV.

You're forgetting that Bran can see everything. He would have noticed if NK is trying to trick them. He said that NK is coming for him. Plus, NK's problem seems to be with the old gods, and weirwoods trees ( trees with faces??). Not so much with andals and their religion/seven gods.

It would be nice if he had interesting motivations rather than just being a cardboard villian. I can't imagine GRR Martin would have written the story with such a boring character being so central. So we should find out about it soon. Unless of course the Show has decided to go its own way and leave behind whatever Martin was planning.

While sleep requirements vary slightly from person to person, most healthy adults need between 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night to function at their best. Night Walkers however are nocturnal and sleep in the day and hunt at night cos theyre tricky bastards

I have found it quite amusing how many people found that Arya/Gendry scene a hard watch. Personally I loved it, if nothing else it shows what a confident character she has become over the last couple of seasons. I always enjoy Arya showing her emotional side anyway, I always suspected her journey for revenge would in the end be the death of her. But a part of me is hoping she survives and accepts there is more to life than vengeance.

My assumption would be that there will be outside interference given the odds are so heavily stacked against them, and the plan with Bran is way too simple, but I have no idea what.
