The FA cup actually has potential to be interesting now BCD - rather than most teams shitting it and rolling over for City, I think they'll gain more confidence from the slightly different feel of games. I'd still expect City to get to the final but might be trickier than usual for them.

I'm glad it's being played out personally. If we somehow manage to get the league, FA cup and CL all played out by September then we can start to get back to normal. It would have been a total mess if some or none of those competitions could be completed.

The CL is definitely the challenge as others have said but I think it could be played in a 'safer' country over a few weeks in August if travel allows for the players and staff to all get there.

Just annoying our game went ahead a day before things got suspended. Play it now with Alisson back and it would probably be a different story.

To be fair, there was never any chance of that game not going ahead, the only alternative would have been to play it behind closed doors.

cant they play them very late at night, i remember years ago there was a barca game at midnight for some mad reason, Ronaldinho scored a worldie in it

https://youtu.be/pCXwTqoFaMA

And this is why, Sevilla insisted it had to be on a Wednesday and barca wanted it on Tuesday so they did 12.05am on the Wednesday ;D

I think it was that late for the Far East markets?

Would it be "Tory" to have a bottle of fizz in the house on the off chance I have something to celebrate?

Asking as a 40 year old fella who isn't against the odd Tory drink or food item.
Definitely not the politics though.

Starting to get excited now, can't wait for the fume

Fuck what anybody thinks, I'm celebrating with a couple of bottles of Brut Gold Armand de Brignac at over £6800 a bottle and will be dining on roasted swan with a lobster shoved up it's arse, and a bag of chips on the side so it looks less tory

I felt the players were not affected at all by the events surrounding the game though. We were beaten fairly, yes because of errors by Adrian, but I have no complaints.

It was the away game where the ref was a joke!

But I think we'll get to another final in the next few seasons if we keep the core of our team.

Only if you drink it out of a carafe and annoy the SYP.

In all seriousness though, when it looked likely Thatcher was about to shuffle off this mortal coil to the boiling lakes of fire in hell, I had a bottle of the best Lanson on permachill and posted a photo of it being emptied into two crystal LFC champagne flutes to salute the demise of the Tory witch so the answer to your question is unequivocally FUCK, NO! :wave

Nothing wrong with that.

Had a decent one in the fridge for just over a year before cracking it open last May.  The Mrs had half a glass...

to be honest I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've actually drunk champagne, but the little I've had I've enjoyed.

Not a fan of champagne, even the posh stuff. Had a glass once that cost £35 and it was shit.

Jack Daniels with Jack Daniels cider as a mixer will be drink of choice when we win it, followed by a Baileys.

depends on the champagne, bollinger is deffo Tory champagne, likes of Moët are fine (if you have to do that, I’m more red wine)
