Shirley Collins. Especially that trio of weird-folk masterpieces: The Power of The True Love Knot, Anthems in Eden and Love, Death and The Lady. I'm finally going to see her live next month. Something i've dreamt of for 2 decades. I'm a bit nervous. Her voice appears to have aged quite badly, judging by Lode Star, which i couldn't enjoy at all.

A brilliant Liverpool boxset on Cherry Red called 'Revolutionary Spirit : The Sound Of Liverpool 1976 - 1988' (using the term Liverpool with a serious pinch of salt).

Both albums by Slow Readers Club.

I had another listen to this one. I remember nicking the LP from my brother when he was away one weekend. I still love the first song Dancing with the Moonlight Knight, and have always enjoyed Genesis when Peter Gabriel was a member of the group.
